Chapter 8: Accident

Cream's POV
I was doing so good. All I had to do was flip. But someone screwed it up. As I began my back flip, they dropped me and I wasn't ready. I fell to the ground on my head. I had a terrible headache. My arm hurt like crazy. I just couldn't move.

As I lay here, I am now on my side. I watch as Blaze screams, Sally falls over on her back, Amy hits her face on the ground, Rouge loses her balance, the other girl loses hers too, and Mina runs away with a surprised look.

Im facing the bleachers. I keep telling myself to get up but I'm just not corroborating. I see Tails jump up. He's scared. He's yelling at me. My friends jump up. Everyone is spinning and when they talk, it's as if they're a distance away.

Blaze runs over. Amy and the other girls too. The whole team is around me. Tails nearly falls down getting off the bleachers. I hear Rouge scream, "her heads bleeding, someone call 911! NOW HURRY!"

"Roll her over," yelled Amy. "Maybe we can put pressure on her head." They rolled me over on my back. I hurt really bad. I tried to scream but nothing came out. "Her arm is swollen," yelled Sally. "I think it's broke!"

"Cream!!!" Tails was yelling my name. He pushed some girl out the way. My friends ran down. So did Bunnie and her friends. Everyone was concerned about me. Tails leaned over me. He put my head in his lap.

I heard the ambulance sirens. They were near. "Creamy I love you so much, it's gonna be ok." He said it as if I was really hurt. I started to panic. I started to cry. My vision blurred. Everything was turning black. I was passing out. My eyes began to become heavy.

"Cream, baby, stay with us." Tails started to cry. I was too. Everyone was. "Please don't go," cried Amy. "Hold on." I felt a hand grab my left hand. "It's gonna be alright lil rabbit." I moved to eyes and it was Bunnie. She had tears in her eyes. She used to call me that when we were younger. "I'm not losing my cousin. Not tonight, not this way." She squeezed my hand.

The ems people ran up to me with a bed. "How is she?" "I think she's passing out," screamed Blaze. "Oh god no," cried Sally. They had everyone move and they put me on the bed. Tails didn't let go of my hand. I was still slowly passing out.

Tears were coming down all of our cheeks. "Sir you gotta let her go, she needs to get to the hospital immediately. Her injures can be worse than you think."

As much as she pushed him to let go, Tails refused. "We can go straight to the hospital after they leave. You gotta let her go buddy," said Sonic. Bunnie let go and was now staring at me with tears in her eyes. "SIR WE HAVE TO GET HER TO THE HOSPITAL. IM GONNA NEED YOU TO LET GO!" The woman was becoming angry.

If I could, I would let go. It was killing me. Sonic grabbed Tails and pulled him away. His touch was gone. The warmth, the feel, the love, I didn't feel it anymore. More tears ran down my cheeks. Without him I was getting scared. I was passing out.

"We're leaving right now Cream," Sonia said I think. They put me into the ambulance. Two woman followed in with me. The man went to the drivers seat and got in.

I was passing out. This is it, I thought. I just want the day to start over. I wanted to tell my mom that I love her. I want to tell Bunnie that I forgive her. I want to tell my friends that they're the best. I want to finally ace a back flip off a pyramid.

"She losing a lot of blood."

I want to finally have faith in my self.

"Stay awake honey."

I wanna stop giving up.

"CREAMY," I heard Tails yell.

I began to cry. I start to feel really weak. I was drifting. "Goodbye everyone," I said to myself.

I always wanted to show Tails how much I love him.

Then everything went black....
