It's a little past midnight and Reece is still here. All he does is talk to me and shoot me that killer smile, not once has he brought up his proposal. I found out a lot about him though.

He's twenty years old, he lives in California but he's in New York for the summer. He was born and raised in the UK. He started modeling at the age of fourteen and he loves it.

He's had a total of three girlfriends and plans to marry by the time he's thirty, he's not keen on having kids but he is open to adoption, and he's very interested in me.

It amazed me how close we had gotten within such a small time frame. I wasn't going to lie, I wanted him but I was going to wait before I even considered dating him.

"It's getting late. I should lock up." I say standing. I had been sitting on the counter with my back to the door while he occupied the stool in front of me. He agreed.

I closed up shop and we went outside. The city was still bustling as if it were normal production times. I walked to the curb and waved over a taxi, "What are you doing??" Reece yelled at me, swatting my hand to my side.

"Ow! I was getting a ride home!" I yelled back. "Are you kidding me? It's almost one in the morning! You aren't catching a cab!! I'm giving you a ride. C'mon." He was angry, I didn't know why.

But he was, and that caused his accent to become stronger than ever, it was cute. He held my hand and pulled me towards a 2015 black Mercedes Benz.

My mouth fell open. I reached to open the door but he locked it. "Never do that. Especially when you're with me." He warned.

He opened the door and I graciously stepped in. He waited until I was buckled in before closing the door and walking to his side. As he stood in front of the car I could see his jaw clench. I had really upset him... But how?

"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to make you mad.' I whisper as he starts the car. He nods. "It's fine. I just couldn't believe how easily you put your life in danger. Anything could happen at this time of night. I didn't mean to scare you, at all."

I smiled at him as we drove down the road, me giving hm directions every so often. By the time we arrived at my complex his right hand was resting on the middle counsel, our fingers intertwined.

I took off my seatbelt and reached for the door but quickly dropped my hand. "Quick learner." He smirked, he got out and opened my door, holding his hand out. I accepted and he pulled me from my seat.

I stumbled a little but regained my balance. "Can I kiss you?" I blurted. His eyes went wide before settling, he smiled and bit his lip looking at the sky. He released it and began to speak again, but I kissed him.

I stood on my toes and pulled him by the nape of his neck, his hands instantly found my waist. My fingers tangled into his hair as we pulled away. I was breathless. "I'm-" I started, "Don't be sorry." "I'm not. I was going to say I'm looking forward to our next date."

He smiled, "Me too. Let me walk you to your door." He intertwined our fingers yet again and I began to walk to my door. As we arrived he pulled my body into him. "Please call me tomorrow... Or today." He chuckled.

I nodded and savored his cologne and detergent mix, it was intoxicating. He pulled away, kissed my forehead and walked to his car. But he didn't leave until I had closed my front door and locked it; my back against it, my bottom lip between my teeth.

I walked to my room and plopped onto the bed. It was 1:11 and I was exhausted. Somehow, some way, I dragged myself into the bathroom and took a shower. I got dressed, and laid in bed.
