I walked into the kitchen, sad to find (surprise surprise) a note from my dad saying that he would be home late. "Ugh, that means I have to cook for my brother". I hear a thump thump thump coming down the stairs, here my brother comes now, "what's for dinner?" He asked, obviously sad that neither mum or dad were here with us tonight. "Uh, Mac and cheese?" I should be eating more than that considering that I'm in my senior year of high school and finals start in two weeks. Actually, I should be studying! Not raising my brother!" "Alright!" My brother interrupted my thoughts, "you go study, and I'll order pizza!" What the hell? Brothers aren't supposed to be this nice, and especially not my devil of a brother. "Uh, ok??" I replied, confused. I walked upstairs, into my room and took out my math books. I hate math so much, it's the worst subject in the world, it's not like I can't do math, I understand it once i focus but it's not a subject I care about. Bleep! "SHIT" I looked around frantically and realized it was just my phone. Wow I was just scared by my phone, looks like Rebecca texted me. Rebecca is a friend I made last year, she moved here from Australia and has the best accent of all time.
Rebecca- So, how did your date go?? ;) 😏
Me- first of all what date? Second of all, how do you even know I went out today??
Rebecca- I happened to also be out today and I saw you with Jay ;)))))))
Me- ok, well it wasn't a date we were just hanging out as friends, sorry to disappoint
Rebecca- sure, but you wanted it do be a date didn't you ;)
Me- what?!?! No... Why would you think that??? :0
Rebecca- come on, do you think I'm stupid? I noticed that you have feelings for him a while ago
Me- ok maybe I have a little crush, but that doesn't matter! I'm glad it was just as friends 😬
Rebecca- your eyes when you look at him says otherwise, anyways I'm gonna go study. Bye 👋👋
Me- baiii
Are my feeling really that easy to read? You know what that doesn't matter right now, what matters is studying for finals. I pushed all my thoughts of Rebecca and Jay away and went back into the world of math.
