Chapter 6

Sighhhh, school today. I got up out of bed and shut off my alarm, "ughHhhhhhH, I hate school so much". The only good thing about school is that I get to see Jay, Luke and Rebecca all day, thankfully Ashlee doesn't go to our school. I walked downstairs and got my usual breakfast of cereal and a bowl of fruit, was that thing with Jay a date? Was he thinking it was a date and I didn't catch on?? No, it couldn't have been a date. Confused, I finished my breakfast and went to shower. When I got out I walked to my room and put on my school uniform which looks really bad on me might I add. "You have to walk me to school!" My brother yelled as he ran into my room unexpectedly. "CRAP! Don't scare me like that! And no way, you take the bus. Don't think that just because mum and dad aren't here that you get to walk to school" I said rolling my eyes. "Fine, i'm off then" "do you have lunch money?" "Yea! Dad gave me some day before yesterday!" he yelled, and then I heard the door shut. Finally, I can get ready in peace. I packed my bag and left the house, making sure that everything was locked properly, "hey!!! Hailey!!" I looked up and saw Rebecca running towards me like a crazy person. "What?" I said annoyed, I'm not a morning person, "hi" she said then started laughing like a lunatic. "I hear there's a new girl at our school" Rebecca said, "and where could you have possibly heard that", "I have my sources". If there is a new girl I hope she is nice. We continued walking and talking, as usual Rebecca forgot we had homework in chemistry and tried to do it while walking, she has never been the best at remembering homework.

*at school*
"Yo! Hailey and Rebecca!" I looked up and saw Jay walking towards us with luke. "Hey guys" I said "Shhhh!! I'm trying to finish this chemistry homework!!" Rebecca shouted. "Maybe you should start writing down your homework so you remember and don't have to do this every morning" is said and all of us laughed. Ring ring! The bell rang, ugh I have math first, "we'll see you guys later, come on luke lets go to math". Luke and I have math, physics, french and p.e. together, I'm very lucky because I suck at math but luke is awesome at it. A couple minutes passed after we walked into the class and the teacher walked in, "alright class settle down, we have a new student today", so what Rebecca said really was true! "Her name is Cara Wiltshire, let's all welcome her into this class nicely".
