Chapter 10

As the teacher babbled on about boring history I started to day dream... "Oh Hailey I can't belive I even thought about Cara. I love you so much! "Jay, I dont know what to say! I love you too!" I jumped into his arms, but then  felt someone shaking me... "Hailey! Wake up! Class is over! You're lucky I told the teacher that you're sick or you would have detention after school today" Rebecca said, "wow, thankyou becca, don't you have a class with Jay now?" I questioned "Why yes I do, and I plan to question him" she said and winked. "Well just don't say my name please..." "don't worry, I got you", and with that she winked and walked away.

*Rebeccas point of view*
I walked into class and spotted Jay immediately. "Hey Jay!" I yelled across the room, "Oh, hey bec, guess we got a spot of luck today because our teacher isn't here", yes! I smirked, that means I can question him without worry!. "So, Jay... I have a few questions", "oh yea? Like what?" He said with a smile on his face, "what do you like in a girl? I'm asking because i'm...um...comparing it to other guys answers!" I'm so stupid... "Well, I like when girls are themselves, and when they know their worth. Like most other guys I like girls that put a smile on my face and can make me laugh. I like girls that are interested in things I like, girls who aren't embarrassed about who they are". Wow... he's so... perfect for Hailey. "Well Jay let me just say out of all the "other guys i've interviewed" you have had the best answer" I said with a smile on my face. I know Hailey wants to know how he feels about Cara and Ashlee... and I also know she'll never ask, so i'll do it! "Do you like Ashlee and Cara?" I suddenly blurted out, "what? Haha why would you think that? Ashlee is just a friend, she told me that she was interested in me on valentines day but I turned her down." He said camly, "what about Cara?" I asked nervously, "I don't know... I only just met her so it would be hard to develop feelings now... besides she's- nevermind". He said with an abrupt stop, "She's what?!" I asked but he had already gotten distracted by something on his phone. Well at least I got what I wanted.

*Skip to end of school, Hailey's POV*

"Hailey! Wait! Hailey!" I turned around to see Jay running at me, "hey Jay!" "hey, want to come over today and help me study for this test I have?" I answered without a second thought, "yes! I mean, sure" good job Hailey, I mentally smacked myself on the forehead. "Great! It's in Chemistry and I know you're really good at chemistry" he sounded so happy. I went on my phone to message my brother about not coming home and saw that I had messages from Rebecca... I got the info!!! Call me ASAP!! I would call her but I was right next to the person we would be talking about. I'm with Jay right now! I'll call you when I get home, which might not be soon... bye! :3 and with that I turned off my phone and prepared to study at Jay's house.
