A company of Imperial Guard was sent to secure Vale for the Emperor's visit despite Jaune's protests, this was standard procedure for the royal family
Jaune is considered a high value individual and the Imperium being cut off from the rest of the world, does not know how these Kingdoms would react to their introduction and their existence
Atlas alone is a problem due to them holding the most power in remnant due to the flawed Amity Treaty to disarm all kingdoms of their armies and keep a minimum defense force as their primary way of defense
Such an idiotic policy made by council members who were trying to win favor with the people, but the treaty dictates the use of soldiers but atlas found a loop hole in that alone
So they decided to automate half of their forces, despite having a minimal force in compliance to the treaty, they circumvent it by using artificial forces to remake their base army
Such a dirty trick could not be refuted due to stipulations in the treaty and trying to re-contextualize it will take decades of political garbage to unfuck
The Imperium was never subjected to this idiotic treaty and are within their right to keep their standing army as they never took part of the Great Wars
Something that atlas may challenge in the future if they are too greedy with what they are currently seeing with the Imperium
