I press the home button on my phone weakly. 3:00 a.m.! "Are you fucking kidding me?" I say aloud. Getting up from my bed, I walk to the window and peek outside to see four teen boys running around like 5 year olds. Pricks. I decided to lay back down. Try and get some sleep for today's long day of school. Private school, uniforms, gosh I'm gonna hate this.
I fell back asleep two hours later, then woke up to my alarm going off and hour or so after that. Feeling around, I felt my phone. Then I tapped aggressively all over the screen to shut off my alarm. Oddly, I smelled food. And heard a mans voice. Dad must be here!! I threw on my uniform, put my hair in braided pig tails and ran downstairs. Let's just say I was very disappointed.
"You must be Katie." He spoke to me. Gosh after hearing his voice I was not disappointed. He sounded like an angel, and his accent was extremely hot. He looked a lot like Mali Koa, so I was assuming he was Calum.
"Uh yeah. H-Hey." I stuttered. What was wrong with me?
"I'm gonna give you a ride to school today, and every other day if you'd like?" He rubbed the back of his next and gave me a half smile.
"S-Y- That would be very pleasing to me." I finally found my words. I really needed to act normal. Damn that neck rub was hot though. And that half smile made me feel like jelly. How did I not remember this guy?
"So I don't know if we should hug or not?" I started laughing as I was saying that.
"Sure, bring yourself on over here." He laughed and held out his arms to me.
I decided to make it as cute as possible and jump up onto him. I wrapped my self around him and hugged tightly, as did he. For some reason I wanted to stay there forever, that was, until I heard the shutter of a camera going off. I jumped off right away.
"So mom, why did you make breakfast?" I asked stuffing my mouth with pancakes.
She acted all innocent, "what rare you talking about, I always make breakfast for you..." She laughed awkwardly.
"Okay mom, whatever you say." I say and laughed. Calum laughed with me. Just then I looked behind my pouting mother at the clock. I was gonna be late on my first day! I mean I was starting on a Friday but, I was almost late!!
"BYE MOM GOTTA GO!!" I yelled as I drug Calum out of my house. It was very silent as soon as we got into the car. I reached and turned on the radio. Oddly enough, it was still super awkward. I looked over at Calum's jacket. It had a C on it. Sick a letterman jacket.
"So, what sport are you in?" I asked casually. I was still eyeing his jacket.
"I'm captain of the football team, or as you Americans put it, soccer." He said plainly. It felt like he hated me already.
"Great" I huffed under my breath.
"What, what's wrong?" Calum said slightly concerned.
"Oh uhm nothing." I quickly say as we pulled up to the school. I hopped out and thanked Calum running into school and to the office. "Hey, I'm new here and I was wondering if this is where I get my schedule?" I spoke out of breath. I needed to run more. The lady at the front desk just eyed me, then handed me my papers. Wow they must not get a lot of new people around here.
When I walked out of the office I saw girls goggling over Calum and his friends. Those are the assholes I saw this morning! I didn't know he was so popular. While I was thinking I heard this girl getting harassed. I walked over and tapped the shoulder of the dumb bitches that were messing with her.
She turned to me, "what the fuck do you want." she said like a snob.
"I want you to stop fucking with this girl and walk away." I said back to her, feeling the stares of people. She just huffed and turned away. The girl turned to me and smiled.
"I'm Sydney." She said shyly. I smiled at her, then said "We'll be great friends." We walked with each other. She showed me where my. Classes were, I showed her how to walk like you were confident. Most people won't mess with you if you are confident. At the end of the day, we were the best of friends. I told her goodbye and started to walk over to Calum. She grabbed my shoulder then whisper screamed, "what do you think you're doing, you can't just talk to Calum. He doesn't like nobodies." I couldn't help but laugh.
"Okay Sydney, watch how easy this'll be." I say as I stride over to Calum.
"Hey Cal, you ready to go?" I spoke in a 'sexy' voice, grabbing his tie and running my fingers down it. He just smiled, shook his head, and walked with me to his car. Driving home was silent, but it was nice.
"Bye Calum. Thank you." I gushed. Then walked inside. I had very nice dreams, and couldn't wait until tomorrow.
