The room was silent, the feeling of anticipation was present in the stiff ambience. Avory sat at his sister's bedside and lightly touched her pale cheek, making her shiver and stir. Peter lingered about on the out skirts of the bed, wanting to see those hazel eyes he had come to love so much. He hadn't seen them in weeks and he was desperate to look upon them once more.

"You told us she was awake." Peter stated as more of a question directed at, Nox, the head healer in the palace.

"She was just a moment ago, my Lord." The older man assured him.

Arra stirred a bit and slowly attempted to open her heavy eyes. Jelina, stood from afar and couldn't help but notice how the two men responded to Arra. They were like moths to a flame, she found it quite funny and adoring of her brother.

Peter had never looked at a woman the way he looked at this maiden. His very being gravitated towards her. Especially, one he hardly knew. Jelina would surely goad him on the matter later, now was too serious of a time to do such a thing.

"Pe- Peter?" Arra struggled to say in her horse voice. He smiled and let out a breath he had been refusing to release until Arra had awaken. He took her cold little hand into his warm one, and lightly squeezed it, letting her know he was there. She smiled when she felt his warmth instantly feeling safe. Turning to her other side. She noticed that there were others in the room.

Her smile and eyes grew wider when she saw the face of a man she hadn't seen in months. "Avory!" She says excitedly. He immediately wraps his arms tightly around his sister. "Oh, I've missed you much brother. How did you get here?" She asked finally letting go of him. She looked around the huge room and saw two women, and a man standing by a door, a blonde haired girl who looked to be the same age as the King, and Peter himself of course was right next to her still clinching to her small and frigid palm.

"Where exactly is here?" She comments out loud, then looks to King Peter. "My lord, where am I?" Arra asked timidly as she cuffs her burning throat. Instantly the head healer, Nox grabs a glass and hands it to Arra. Peter takes this time to explain to her what exactly happened during the attack on the market.

"There was an attack in the village, the threat whilst escaping were in search of something in the market." Arra frowned in confusion and anger. For someone actually dared to threaten her people, well not her's per say, but it was her home nonetheless.

"This 'threat', do we know whom it was, my Lord? And what they were searching for?" She asked curiously, seeming to regain her strength with each passing minute. King Peter hesitated before answering the determined Arra.

"He goes by the name of Barren. The word amongst the kingdom is that he is the bastor son of the late King Geoffrey III. On the night he was born the King sentenced him to be exiled, instantly making King Geoffrey's 'only son' the sole heir to the Kingdom of Savwon. When Barren came of age he swore to have what was rightfully his...to be King, but more so ruler of all six realms... Though to do that he needs a weapon. Something far more powerful than any Army can fight." Peter explained while pacing the room.

"Over the years he's managed to gather his own army. One that just might be as big as mine. But he isn't powerful enough... Yet. Not until he has the final piece to his puzzle."

"Which is?" Avory now asked seeming interested. "No one knows, at least no one outside of Barren and his people." Arra sighed in frustration and positioned herself to get up out of the comfort of the bed.

"What are you doing?" Avory asked his little sister his voice laced with concern. "I refuse to be a burden on the King at a time like this. When Barren strikes again- and he will, I will be ready... No one hurts my people and gets away with it." She said with determination.

"Arra, you are much too weak to fight in a war that isn't your own. Stand down!" Avory demanded.

"Brother I've been bedridden for weeks, you know me better than to stand idly by instead of fighting for what is right... I'm sorry, but I will not and I can not allow that man to hurt and kill the people of my home." She defended softly.

Avory sighed in defeat. He knew that fighting with Arra was simply a lost cause, she did what she wished. "Well then I shall fight with you." Avory decided stepping to his sister.

"Avory, no... I could not bare-"

"This isn't about you, Arra. It's about doing what's right hm? Is that not what you said just a moment ago sister?" Arra's eyes looked upon her brother in sorrow. She would die if anything ever happened to him. He meant too much to her to let that happen, but she couldn't just let down the people. They were her family and they needed help. If worse came to worse, she would willingly sacrifice herself for Avory any day. No questions asked.

"Okay brother... I suppose you shall be of some use to me after all." She goaded him jokingly. Avory laughed along with her and wrapped Arra in a bird cage. That's what they called their hugs since they were children. "It is pleasing to know the fire has not extinguished." He comments with a warm smile, letting go of her yet again.

"Never." She replied mimicking his innocent smile.
