He seeks no wealth, he wants no fame
He wants to grace his father's name
And although she has changed his heart
He cannot bear to live in shame

Without the glory he'll be a slave
Dishonored coward among the brave
He needs to breathe the triumph air
Or rest with pride inside his grave

She tells him as she's about to cry
"I cannot live if you might die"
"What if I just lose you there?"
"What if this is the last goodbye"

He says "listen to me my dear"
"Your heart is filled with fear
Whenever you feel this way
Close your eyes and I'll be here"
"I love you girl, you are the one
In my darkest days, you raised the sun
With Your love running through my veins
I'll end this war, I know I've won"

Knights have fallen in his way
Like a sun burning with every ray
He knows he's few steps apart
Days have passed, here comes the day

He looks to him with pain burning his eyes
A side of weakness wants to ask him why

He heard her voice, he felt her skin
Remembered that he has to win
He pulled his sword so sharp and thin
Then pushed it through the villain's heart

"You have no love there my friend"
"This is how this all must end"
