Another school day

"Morning," I mumbled to my grandmother when I entered the kitchen.

"Good morning," she answered. I took my cup of coffee and leaned on the table.

I drank my coffee, brushed my teeth said goodbye and left the house. I put in my earphones and breathed in cold morning air.

It was a relaxing 20minute walk from my house to school and when I finally stepped inside I was blessed with warmth.

I made my way towards my locker, hung my jacket and changed into my slippers.

I took my bag and went to the benches where me and my friends met every morning.

"Hi!" I greeted them. Each of them answered and I stepped towards my close friends.

"Hello biatch," Zara greeted me with her warm smile. She was a short girl, with long straight dark brown hair and big sapphire blue eyes. We were together in math, literature and English class. She was smart and funny and I liked her.

I looked around the room and saw Maria and Blair. They waved and I waved back. Maria stood up and gave me a quick hug. "How are you," she asked. With her baby blue eyes and light golden brown hair she looked like a model.

Blair joined us soon. "I'm fine, you?" I answered. "Fine, fine. Listen, last night I was out with this guy and he just kissed me!" Blair started dramatically.

She always dramatized everything that was happening and the way she rolled her dark brown eyes and shook her walnut brown hair around made everything beyond comical. She loved acting and used her skills very well when it came to guys.

So she started telling us everything about last night and we sometimes made funny sarcastic comments about it. The school bell rang and we hurried through the hallway. I was the last one as always and took a quick look at the menu because I was gonna be late anyway.

"Tssss Boston,.." I heard a familiar voice full of laughter behind me. "Oh shut up," I said as I rolled my eyes and ran up the stairs.

The first period began and it was Physics. I hated Physics. It was too hard and nothing made sense! I just sat down next to my best friend Mina.

We exchanged questioning looks and I shrugged my shoulders. I was just drawing in my notebook for the whole hour and wrote something down here and there.

The bell was a blessing and I hurried into my locker to take out my books for the next period. It was Geography. I loved Geography. It was one of my favourite subjects. The teacher was great and we learned a lot. Not many of my schoolmates shared the same opinion. In fact, no one did.

I took my three books out and closed the locker when I heard a mocking voice "What was with Boston last night?" I turned to my right and saw David walking towards me.

"Yeah, yeah, we can't win all the games," I said with a smirk and began walking. But he was quickly beside me. "You wish," he said when we walked up the stairs. I just rolled my eyes and made my way to the classroom.

After Geography it was time for a lunch break. I sat with Mina and we were eating our cereal. "So what is with David?" She asked me.

I gave her a confused look. "David?"

"Yes. David."

"I don't know, why?" I answered.

"Well, I saw you two talking this morning and currently he is staring at you," she pointed out. I looked up and met his gaze. He quickly looked away and I gave Mina a puzzled look.

"He's just annoying me," I answered her and we ate on.

The day went by quickly and soon it was time to go home. I put on my thinking playlist and began walking.

I enjoyed the fresh air, but my thoughts were quickly gone with one simple sentence. "Tsss, Boston..."
