New Team Mate.

Reiko POV

(I'm English so bare with me. I won't be outing Japanese words in apart from their names. Okay? OKay THANKYOU)

I wondered up to Raimon. My new school. I was a second year there. As of today. And I wanted to join the soccer club. Me and an old friend, a very old friend, Tenma used to play constantly in the park. We would play with our other friend Aoi as well. (I'm older than them)

I liked to think I was pretty good.

I practised constantly and I loved it. I hoped there would be space on the team for me. But I had to go through school first.

First lesson was Math and I had to stand up in front of the class and introduce myself.

"Hello. I'm Reiko Arisu." I didn't know what else to say. So I kinda stood there awkwardly waiting for further instructions.

"Reiko. Sit next to Nishiki. And we will start with the lesson." I wasn't really listening. I was messing about with my feet. In my mind I was on a pitch. And that pretty much was the lesson for me.

The day passed slow. I met this girl Midori as she was in most of my lessons. And Nishiki seemed pretty nice. Apart from the amount of things he would do to aggravate Midori. They both did things for the soccer club. Nishiki a player and Midori a manager. They told me a bit about the team. Not a lot.

They explained about a member named Tsurugi. Who was originally a member of fifth sector. But he was told by his brother that he was betraying him and soccer. That made him change his mind. And he started fighting with Raimon instead of against them.

Then there was their captain Tenma. I was a but shocked at the name. But I doubt it was the Tenma I knew. Because the Tenma I knew wasn't the captain sort. But this Tenma changed his entire team. Which is impressive.

When it came to their practise I walked over with Midori.

"Do you want me to talk to coach Endou to see if you can be on the team. Or at least show us what you can do so he can think about putting you on the team?" she asked me.

"Would you?" I asked shocked.

"Yeah. Friends help friends. Come with me. We'll do it now." She dragged me to a tall man with an orange head band around his head.

"Coach Endou." Midori spoke up.

"Midori. Who's this?" Coach Endou asked turning his head and looking down to see us.

"This is my friend Reiko Arisu and she's interested in becoming a member of the team."

"Ahh. Another manager! Just what we need!" He smiled.

"Actually no. She's interested in being a player." His smile grew bigger.

"Okay. I want to see what you can do. If I get my strongest players to stand up front. If you can get past all of them and score a goal you're on the team."

"All right."

"Tsurugi, Shindou, Tenma and Shinsuke!" Coach Endou shouted. They all came over.

"Good luck." Midori whispered before sitting with two other girls. I recognised one but I pushed it to the back of my mind.

"Yes, sir." They all said. I scanned over them. One had navy blue hair. Stuck up with two twirls of hair. One either side of his face.

Another with greyish brown hair. And a fringe.

Another was quite short. He had a blue head band around his head. LIttle bit of hair sticking up from it.

The last must have been the captain. Since he had the red captain's stripe. He had brown hair stuck up slightly as well.
