Reiko POV

I had made dinner again that night. And Papa cam home earlier than usual. He looked sad. I guess he got the phone call.

"Papa." You whispered hugging him. "What will we do?"

"We'll live like we have always done. That's what your mother would want."

"You're right. Thank you Papa."

"For what?"

"Letting me continue with soccer."

"Well Gouenji was right. I had never seen you smile so much when you were playing that game."

"Gouenji. Have they heard the news?"

"Yes they have."

"Okay. Papa?"

"Yes Arisu?"

"Why don't you want me to play soccer?"

"It's a story we never wished to tell you. But I guess I must now you have your heart set on it. Remember what we told you about your brother?"

"He ran away when he was 7 and I wasn't born so I didn't meet him."

"Well you see. He didn't run away. He was taken away. He was taken by someone who promised to make him the best soccer player in the world. He's been gone 13 years now. And I didn't want you to play soccer because you have the same talents as him. I didn't want you to leave as well."

"So you didn't want me to play soccer because you don't want me to be taken away like he was."

"Yes. But we finally have news from him."

"What?" I was excited to finally meet my brother.

"He's coming home. He wants to be here since I'm working so much and you don't have your mother any more."

"Really? When's he going to be here?"

"He should be here when you get back from school tomorrow."

"What's he like?"

"He is a lot like you. Same perseverance. Same love for soccer."

"I can't wait to meet him." I smiled.

"He didn't know he had a sister until I got a call from him three days ago."

"Oh."

"Arisu. Get some sleep now. It's the best thing you can do. You've been up late a lot recently."

"Yes Papa."

"I'll wake you up in time for dinner."

"Thank you Papa." I went upstairs  and laid on my bed in my sports clothes. I would get into my pyjamas after dinner. I fell asleep quickly.

I was woken up by Papa shaking me. Dinner was ready. We ate talking about my brother more. Reiko Naoki. That's his name. I was excited to meet him. If he's back when I get home he'll see me in my Raimon uniform. I hope he'll be proud that I'm playing. He might want to help the team somehow. I don't know how he feels about soccer any more.
