𝑻he morning sun filtered through the kitchen windows at the Burrow, casting a warm glow over the bustling breakfast table. The Weasleys—minus Percy—sat around, passing plates of toast and bowls of scrambled eggs. Fred and George were in the midst of an exaggerated debate about the best prank they'd ever pulled, Ginny was buttering toast with half an ear on the conversation, and Ron was focused entirely on his third helping of bacon.

Molly bustled around the kitchen, her usual energy slightly dampened by a furrowed brow. She glanced at the clock, frowning. "He should really be up by now," she muttered, more to herself than anyone else. "This isn't like him."

Arthur glanced up from his copy of the Daily Prophet. "Who?"

"Percy," Molly replied, already heading toward the stairs. "I'll go check on him."

Fred snorted, leaning over to George. "Maybe he finally overslept from reading too much Hogwarts: A History last night."

"Or," George added with a mischievous grin, "he's plotting his next riveting lecture about cauldron thickness."
