𝑻he Great Hall buzzed with energy as the new school year officially began. Candles floated high above, their soft glow reflected in the gleaming plates and goblets that lined the house tables. The enchanted ceiling mirrored the velvety night sky outside, where stars twinkled brightly against a deep indigo backdrop. The Sorting Ceremony had just concluded, and the familiar hum of conversation filled the Hall as students turned to catch up with friends they hadn't seen since summer.
At the Ravenclaw table, Olympia sat with Seraphina and Elvira. Elvira's pale blond hair shimmered like moonlight as she leaned forward, her eyes bright with excitement.
"It was absolutely amazing," Elvira said, her hands gesturing animatedly as she spoke. "We started in Italy, of course—Mum wanted to visit every historical site she could find. And then we went to Santorini—" She sighed dramatically, resting her chin on her hand. "It's even more beautiful than the pictures. The sunsets, the water... I didn't want to leave."
"You went to Greece too?" Seraphina asked, raising an eyebrow. "I'm officially jealous. I was stuck at Ministry events all summer."
"Tell me about it," Elvira said, rolling her eyes sympathetically. "Mum dragged me to a couple as well, but after the whole Barty Crouch fiasco, she's been trying to stay under the radar." Elvira paused for a moment, a soft smirk twitching on her lips as she scooted closer to Seraphina. "But ministry events weren't all you did... how was visiting Lee's grandparents?"
