Why are we here? What motivates us to organize a contest like this? Who are we? What are the aims of this contest?
Well, this contest was made possible by John Dave Villalino (Jandiieshin). He's not a famous nor a rich writer. He just wants to encourage amateur writers to learn new and formal techniques in writing. But because of the help of these persons: Suicidalgirl WP, Sofia Terry Red, and Ckai Chen, he made this contest possible.
This contest aims to introduce different writing styles and genre to new generation writers; to inaculate virtue of independence in writing; and to let the contestants venture from one genre to another and get out of their comfort zones and explore. That's what we are here for.
