Percy had a huge idea in his head. A matchmaking service, he thought for a while, something that will make (y/n) less lonely...

He took out a pen and a few papers before scribbling potential boys (y/n) could be together with. Jason has potential, Percy scribbled his name extremely big, before stopping and crossing out his name. Woops, forgot about Piper.

"Nico?" Percy mumbled as he tried to get a few things (y/n) and Nico had in common. Good potential. Percy thought as he circled Nico's name.

"Seem's like Percy's matchmaking service is on a roll!" He stuffed the pieces of paper under his bed before walking out only to have (y/n) greeting him.

Percy smirked as his plan kept repeating in his brian, he felt like a genius.

As (y/n) said her normal greetings she followed Percy along just like any other ordinary day. The only thing different today, was that (y/n) took the initiative to interact with Percy. A few lines were said, questions answered and back the old habbits came. (y/n) was silent with her eyes darting around, alert and observant.

Percy did have some problems with Annabeth at first, but as Annabeth observed  (y/n) she realised that (y/n) wasn't really trying to hit on Percy. Nor was she trying to even talk to Percy. She just stayed silent and followed him around.

"Eh (y/n)," Percy said, turning around to face (y/n), "might I ask you a question?"

(y/n) stared at Percy blanky before nodding her head slowly, suspicious. They were walking towards the Pavilion for breakfast, where they would be separated, and so Percy took this chance. "Why do you follow me around?" he asked for confirmation on his speculation.

"I'm sorry, am I bothering you? You know maybe I should just leave now-" her words came out uncertain and fast.

"No," Percy chuckled, "it's not about that."

(y/n) avoided his gaze, her brain thinkering of a good excuse. "It's...it's be...because," she gulped. Her mind was blank as she just stared awkwardly into Percy's sea green eyes. "I... have issues." she answered as truthfully as possible. Immediately looking down at the dirt below.

Percy's small assuring smile seemed to fade as he looked at (y/n) with pity, "Well you can always talk to me or anybody in this camp about it," he continued walking, "well, somebody you trust."

"Anyways, what are you're issues about?"

"Nothing important."

Percy nodded, still not looking at (y/n). "I see, you're lonely aren't you. You don't have a relationship with anybody that's why you follow me around. Am I right?"

(y/n) stayed silent for a while, before gulping again, "Kinda...?" she said in a tone more like a question. She wasn't sure what Percy's 'relationship' was referring to, and so she just thought it was something to do with friends.

Percy grined, "Well, than I got a surprise for you Miss (l/n)," he continued to walked towards the Pavilion, but at a faster pace knowing that (y/n) would follow along. "I got a solution to your problem."

Nico just ignored Percy. He tried his best to push Percy away, but Percy was persistent. "You're lonely, she's lonely, why not have a go?"

Nico held the temptation to roll his eyes. "Percy, stop this shi-"

Hazel glared at Nico.

Nico cleared his throat, "Stop this nonsense. Also, I like being alone." he took a small bite of his food before raising an eyebrow at Percy. "Did Annabeth agree with this idea?"

Percy laughed, "I'm not that dumb Nico, I can come out of some good ideas myself."

(y/n) fidget awkwardly behind Percy as she listenened to their conversation, unaware of Nico who gave her sympathetic glances. Poor girl, stuck with Percy's dunb ideas... he thought taking another small bite of his food, staring at (y/n) who tried to hide behind Percy's large size. Too bad, I'm also stuck in his matchmaking idea. Nico groaned internally.

"I don't mind," Nico muttered, "I don't mind being her friend if she has none."

(y/n) perked up from looking at the ground, staring at Nico with his decision as if he was crazy.

"But, I'm not planning to get together," he glared at Percy, "with anybody. Nobody."

Percy smiled widely, and pushed (y/n) forward towards Nico who stood up and left towards the woods.

"Go follow him!" Percy said a little too excited, "you guys have lessons together after breakfast right?"

(y/n) nodded slowly, uncertain of her next decision. She wanted to stay behind Percy. Where she felt safe.

Percy grinned and gave her a thunbs up. (y/n) trembled slightly as she ran behind Nico, catching up with him before he dissappeared in the woods.
