Previous chapter:
Percy had a girl following him for the past few days, and so he speculates that she is alone - in the romantic way and decides to match her up with... sadly Nico.
[♡](y/n) trudged behind Nico as he strolled through the woods, hands in his pockets, head hung low and a permanent frown on his face. "You know, when I mean I don't mind being your friend, doesn't mean you should be following me all the way."
(y/n) stayed silent. She furrowed her eyebrows and frowned. He doesn't understand. (y/n) thought trying to stop herself from bursting out all her thoughts and anger. People kept misunderstanding her.
Firstly, no she doesn't like Percy in a romantic way.
Secondly, no she isn't clingy.
Thirdly, she isn't shy.
She just doesn't like to talk to people because of their judgemental stupid brains. "I'm not following you," (y/n) blurted out before covering her mouth in surprise. She didn't mean to reply, not to mention, the fact Percy was gone and she was in the woods with trees which are flammable made her nerves jitter. "I-I mean..." (y/n) sighed, "Just pretend I didn't say that."
(y/n) wasn't sure, but she thought she heard the death boy in front of her chuckle slightly and muttering "So that's why," but all she saw was Nico's permanent frown and him shaking his head.
Even though she felt that Nico didn't want her presence, she still trudged along only to realize they were walking further into the woods. "Um," (y/n) said, "why are we going deeper in the woods? I mean, isn't the next lesson starting like in...5 more minutes?"
Nico grunted, "I didn't ask you to follow me."
"Well, I'm sorry," (y/n) said hoping to sound sarcastic, "I don't know what came over me. Must be your charming frown."
Nico shook his head and sighed really loudly. "How did Percy see the light in this idea?"
(y/n) stayed silent thinking it was enough otherwise the poor boy might burst in frustration or annoyance. She quickly glanced around. The forest seemed more scary now, with the trees being more dense, the large canopy of leaves high above them blocking the light. It was cooling, and cold air whistled to (y/n)'s ear, but it was getting dark. Dimmer and harder to see. She was probably in a very deep part of the woods as she heard some sounds that didn't sound too convincing on her safety. She started to shiver as past events started to creep up to her brain.
Stop! Don't think about it, she thought clutching to her hands.
"You cold?"
(y/n) stopped in her tracks, she shook her head. She wanted to ask Nico for a way out but thought otherwise. Skipping Greek Mythology classes seemed nice. Maybe she could stay with Nico for a while.

"Shut up idiot," you scoulded as you pucnhed Nico in the shoulder making him groan as he sidestepped further away from you. "It's not my fault."
"I never said it was your fault," Nico grumbled rubbing his shoulder. "You're horrible."
(y/n) rolled her eyes.
