The next morning, I opened my eyes. I was still on Norman's chest. He was asleep still, and was snoring loudly. I smiled down at him, barely remembering the previous night. But I did remember him telling me that he liked me a lot. And the sex. Mostly. I sat up, and brushed a bit of Norman's hair out of his face. He muttered something in his sleep, and his eyes fluttered open. When he saw me sitting on top of him, he sat up a little.
"Morning baby." I mumbled, wrapping my arms around his neck. He relaxed slightly, and pulled the seat back up. Then he snaked his arms around my waist.
"Mornin'. How'd you sleep?" He asked, giving me a small kiss. His breath smelt like liquor, and the morning bad breath. I'm sure mine smelt the same.
"Pretty good. You?" I mumbled. My head was pounding, but I tried to ignore it.
"Just fine. How 'bout we get some breakfast and get back home?" He suggested, lowering his hands to my rear. But when he felt the bare skin, he blushed a little and removed his hands. I felt his morning wood rub against me, and I blushed slightly too.
"Sure. If you pull your pants up." I stated. He nodded, and I glanced out the window. Nobody was outside apart from a few cars. Carefully, I opened my door. A chilly, early morning breeze hit me as I got out. I pulled my pants up, and glanced up. The sky was splashed with orange, red, pink, and blue as the sun started making its climb. Norman hopped out behind me, and I heard his pants zipping up.
"Hey, I need to ask you something." Norman stated, walking up behind me.
"Yeah?"
"Are you on birth control?" He asked, looking slightly worried.
"Yeah. Don't worry about that." I said, smiling at him. He let out a small, relieved sigh. "Why? Don't you wanna be a daddy?" I teased.
"I'm good." He mumbled, going up behind me and wrapping his arms around my waist. "Would you believe me if I said that was the first time I'd fucked in about twenty years?"
"No." It couldn't be true.
"Well it was." He said.
"Been saving yourself for me?" I asked, placing my hands on his. They were cold.
"You could say that." He mumbled, pulling away. "C'mon. Let's get going."
So much for the cute little romance. I thought. But I followed him into the truck anyway.

We stopped at a cafe about ten minutes from the bar. Norman was complaining about a headache, and I could use some aspirin.
Sitting down at a booth, the lady took our drink orders and left us alone. Norman was fiddling with his straw wrapper, occasionally glancing at me. I glanced out the window, when I felt something light hit my cheek. I glanced at Norman, who had a smirk on his face.
"Aren't you mature." I retorted, picking up the balled up straw wrapper.
"You did that to me on our first date." He stated.
"Hey Norm, what are we?" I asked. It'd been bugging me since we left the bar.
"Humans, the last time I checked." He stated with one of his smartass comments. I rolled my eyes.
"I meant what is our relationship status?"
"Why? Gonna update your Facebook?" He asked, smirking.
"Norman!" I groaned. I was getting tired of his comments.
"I dunno. I was thinking, that maybe, well..." He glanced out the window. "Maybe I could be your boyfriend?"
My eyes widened slightly. I was almost certain that last night had been a one night stand, but he thought more of it. When he saw my reaction, he bit his lip and sat back.
"Never mind." He muttered. Suddenly, the waitress came up to us with our drinks.
"Hey, do you have any aspirin?" I asked politely, hoping to get off the awkward silence between Norman and I.
"Come from the bar?" She asked.
"Yeah." I mumbled.
"Sure. Be right back. Now, are y'all ready to order?"
"Um, I'll just take some scrambled eggs and wheat toast." I said, handing her my menu.
"I'm good." Norman muttered, handing her his menu too. She nodded and turned around, heading away.
"Norman-" I began.
"It's ok. Maybe we should just stay as partners." He stated, taking a sip of his coffee.
"I'm sorry." I mumbled, taking a sip of my grape juice.
"It's ok. Just don't say anything to Sean about last night." He ordered, taking some sugar packets and creamers.
I glanced away. It wasn't that I didn't want Norman to be my boyfriend. It's just that I literally met him only two days ago. And I fucked him. Then again, studies have proven that when you're drunk, 70% of what you say is true. So maybe Norman really did like me.
After several minutes of waiting in awkward silence, the waitress came back with a plate of eggs and toast. A bottle of aspirin was in her apron pocket. She set them down in front of me. "Here y'all go. Have a nice day." She when left us. I took out a single pill and downed it with my juice. Norman sat in silence, and I handed him the pills. He took a couple, and set them on the edge of the table.
I took a bite of eggs, avoiding looking at Norman. Maybe I should give him a chance. He's a nice guy, well, ignoring his "career".
I glanced at him. He was looking at my eggs hungrily. Then I realized he didn't order anything. I took my knife and cut my eggs in half. Then I put them on the toast plate, taking about two slices off as well. Then I shoved them over to him.
"I'm good." He mumbled, trying to shove them back.
"I'm not letting my boyfriend miss breakfast." I retorted, smiling at him. I noticed a small look of joy in his eyes.
"Really?" He asked, arching an eyebrow. I nodded, reaching my hand across the table. He grabbed it, and twined his fingers through mine.
"So now I'm dating my boss, right?" I chuckled.
"I guess so. But don't expect it to be kinky." He stated.
"But what if I want a Fifty Shades of Gray romance?" I whined, pouting my lips at him. He smirked.
"I'm sure we could work something out, Miss..."
"Avery." I finished. "What's your last name?"
"Reedus." He said.
"Ok, Mister Reedus." I teased, biting my lip. He chuckled, bringing my hand up to his lips and giving my knuckles a kiss. "So can I tell Sean about us?"
"Sure. Just don't tell him we fucked in his car."
