Lillianna~Coffee Shop

Smiling proudly, Lily flipped the sign to closed. Her first week was over and she made a good profit too. As she turned to grab one of the last cups of coffee she saw a figure move outside the shop. Lily heard a faint knock on the door.

Once she walked to the door she could see an outline of a man. "What do you want?" She asked, nervous.

"Can I get a cup of coffee?" His husky voice sent chills down her spine.

"We are closed, sorry. There's a bar a few blocks over if you drink." She offered. It was already nine thirty and she promised the girls she would be ready by ten thirty, eleven at the latest. When he didn't respond or move she spoke again, "Are you still there," she asked but she could still see the outline of his figure.

"Can I please come in, I'll pay you double." As he said that she heard the desperation in his voice. "Please," he pleaded.

"You aren't going to rob me or anything, right?" Although the question was stupid she couldn't help but ask. She had saved up just around a hundred grand over the last four years. She had to live on the east side and even had to miss a few out of country birthdays in fear of her plan being ruined.

The man chuckled softly, "I promise on the grave of my godmother." She carefully turned the lock and opened the door. A man slipped through bs when she saw him, she couldn't help but stare at his beautiful green eyes. "Thank you, can I please get some coffee?" His eyes did all the talking.

   "Want anything in it, sir?"

"Just some sugar, not a lot. You can call me Leo..." He gave her a smile.  "Sorry for interrupting your evening. I just-"
He was interrupted by a small voice, "You don't have to explain. My name is Lilianna but you can call me Lily." He nodded as she handed him a cup of coffee.

"Thank you, my name is Leonardo but that's quite a month full so people usually call me Leo. This is your shop?"

   "Yeah..."

And from there be an the beginning of something magical.
