I DID IT.

ANDY’S POV

 I can hear the laugh and loving that I can’t get enough

It felt good to finally finish that song. I wanted to record it immediately so that the whole world could know how I feel.

The kiss we shared last night was beyond description. I just felt like I was on cloud nine to be quite honest. Nothing could beat that feeling. Nothing. When my fingers landed on her bare skin, I felt this sudden electric shock rush through my veins, and I could feel her tremble as I touched her. I could feel the goose bumps forming on her skin as I held her in my arms. She gave me this uncontrollable rush that I had never experienced in  my life before.

“Oh dude, I can’t believe you got her to break off her engagement! That’s crazy!” Ryan mused.

“I couldn’t believe it when she first told me as well.”

“It must be that voice of yours, she fell in love with you when she heard you sing,” he continued.

“It’s probably your shark bite story,” Joel added.

“Haha, she knows about the surgery guys.”

“You told her? You never tell girls about it until you really trust them”

“It just felt right to tell her, at the time, you know what I mean?”

“It must be –“ Adam started.

“My devilish good looks,” I finished for him and he nudged me playfully. We were all laughing and joking around when our manager, Rachel, came in the studio and shouted,” Guys, Standing in the dark just reached number 2 on the charts!”

We were jumping up and down everywhere with excitement. We were grown men but we were acting like 3 year olds, we just couldn’t contain ourselves. We had worked so hard and it was finally paying off.

The next couple of days had been very hectic, we had radio interviews and a lot of promotion work to do ever since our single reached number 2 on the charts. It’s like we had gained 5 million new fans with the single. It was mind blowing but not nearly as amazing as being able to be with Angie. I felt like the luckiest man in the world. At times I felt insecure about the whole situation, she was just too good for me.  

The whole world probably knew about us by now, the tabloids had obviously blown up the story but it really didn’t bother us. We were just happy to be together and if some people didn’t like it, we could care less. I couldn’t go a day without seeing her, and even though every bone in my body wanted her to be completely mine, I knew it wasn’t the right move. She was beautiful in every way, and she aired this natural beauty that downplayed all the other women I had ever glanced at my entire life. She made me feel so brand new, like nothing before. Since we’d been together, I just felt like I had been loving her forever, everything was so easy.
