ANGELA'S POV
I walked into the sushi restaurant at about 8.30pm that night. I was dressed casually, I would say, although I had spent a bit of time scrumming up for this. I could at least make him feel bad for kissing a girl who was dressed like a stripper. Otherwise, this endeavour felt wrong in my heart. I knew that I shouldn’t be going behind Liam’s back like this. I was as calm as the Dead Sea when my eyes met his deep set eyes, the colour of steel. His icy stare gave me chills and I quickly sauntered to where he was sitting.
‘’If you don’t mind, I ordered the sushi for us already,” he mentioned.
“No, it’s fine by me. Food isn’t really the main reason why I came here.”
“Angie, I’m sorry for what you saw.“
“Andy...” I began.
“No, I was intoxicated. I was out with Max. I don’t know what happens to me when I go out with Max.”
“You’re blaming him now? His tongue wasn’t down that blonde’s throat!”
He had a pretty serious face now and the veins on his forehead were on display. I felt a little bad for making him so stressed with my pointless whining and drama. I worried that any moment he would snap and leave me there whining to myself. Andy was known to have a big ego anyway .He let out a deep sigh before looking up so that his eyes met mine again.
“I didn’t know what I was doing. I’m sorry. She was all over me and I couldn’t quite control it, ya know what I mean?”
I lost myself in his eyes for a few seconds before my heart finally gave in. Besides, his accent made me want to laugh a bit.
“Fine,” I said, and then a smile slowly etched on his face. Oh, that smile was pure perfection. I struggled to stop the edges of my mouth from curving in as well. What was going on with us? This was nuts.
Our sushi was served and I giggled seeing that he didn’t quite know how to use chopsticks.
“You brought me to a sushi restaurant and you can’t use chopsticks?” I teased.
“Figured, someone would show me around here!”
“Come here, bring those with you,” I said, so that I could teach him and we could at least have a decent meal without the shenanigans. There had been enough of those of late.
ANDY’S POV
“So you hold them like this, and you move your fingers..” she went on and on about the chopsticks but honestly all I could think about was that her fingers were touching my hand as she taught me this complicated technique. She laughed when I couldn’t hold them properly and I couldn’t help but smile. She was finding amusement in my poor chopstick skills, seeing her happy again .It was riveting to whole new level and I just felt like gagging. I was so ecstatic at that moment. I just let her lead the way, and even though I couldn’t take my eyes off her I understood how to use the chopsticks.
“Got it?” she asked, snapping me back from my reverie.
“Ummm yeah, you’re a great teacher,” I replied.
I began to use the chopsticks myself and saw her smile with satisfaction.
“What kind is that?” she asked, pointing at some sushi on a plate.
“I don’t know but it’s delicious, here, try some!” I replied, and then took a little with my chopsticks and lifted it so she could take a bite. She hesitated for a bit before opening her mouth so that I placed it on her tongue. This felt kind of wrong considering she was engaged, but I couldn’t stop myself from trying my best to woo her.
