You were whimpering slightly as the thunder rumbled. Your boyfriend Nico di Angelo sat beside you laughing quietly at your fear.
"Oh, come on, (Y/n)! It's just a little storm", he rubbed your back and smiled one of his rare smiles.
"N-no...w-what if something happens?", a loud thunder rumbled and you shrieked.
"Don't be afraid", Nico got closer to you and placed his arms around ypur waist. He hummed a slow and calming song to you, but you wouldn't stop whimpering.
"I c-c-can't", you saw a lighting and a loud thunder followed. You jumped up shrieking, but then you stumbled amd fell backwards right into your boyfriend's lap. Immediately you turned crimson red.
"You can, believe me", he gently kissed the tip of your nose and you shivered slightly at his sudden action. He rarely showed his love. In that moment it started to rain heavily. The rain drummed against the window as if it wanted to break the glass. Again you whimpered. You hated thunderstorms.
"Focus on me, (Y/n)!", Nico demanded and took your chin. Then he turned your head, so that you had to look at him. Your (E/c) eyes looked right inro his dark ones and suddenly the raging thunderstorm outside didn't matter anymore. His soft lips touched yours so gently you thought for a brief moment that he was afraid of you breaking like glass.
"You're beautiful and cute and smart and strong and-", he whispered against your lips after he had pulled away. You chuckled a bit.
"Stop it, Nico", you answered quietly. Suddenly a stick crashed against the door from outside. You jumped.
"Oh no! (Y/n), that was nothing", he cupped your cheek and gave you a slight smile.
"Nothing?!"
"Nothing", he pressed his lips on yours. You moved your lips in perfect sync. The kiss wasn't as gently as before, it was a little bit rougher. Both of you had to pull away because of the lack of oxygen. You panted heavily.
"I love you, Nico", you placed your forehead on his shoulder while he slowly rubbed your back.
"And I love you", he whispered in your ear. Then his lips brushed your earlope. Again you shivered. He was so close. He had never been so close before.
"I'm tired", you said snuggling closer to him.
"Then go to your cabin", he shrugged and you could tell that he was grinning.
"You can't expect that from me", you winced and Nico was dare enough to laugh.
"No, I'm not that mean! I just wanted to tease you", he laid down and now you were on top of him. It made you blush furiously because this position was quiye embarrassing for you. Therefore you sat up and crawled on his side. Nico laughed again before he pulled the blanket over the two of you. You snuggled closer and closed your eyes. Nico yawned a bit and put his arm around you and whispered:
"Still afraid?"
