Your P.O.V:

It had been your quest and only yours. Nico had tried to go with you, but you had refused multiple times. In the end he had given up and you had been able to go alone. Of course you had made it without any problems and now you were on your way back to the camp. You were pretty happy because you could see your boyfriend again. Suddenly there was a noise behind. In an instant you stopped and turned around. There was a hellhound. It snarled and crawled closer to you. Its eyes were red like blood and you could feel your body shaking. Slowly you moved away when the hellhound leapt up. You heard someone shout your name as you were knocked to the ground. It was Nico's voice. The next thing you realized was pain. A lot of pain. You heard yourself scream.

Everything around you was white and you were tired. There was someone next to you whispering your name again and again. You didn't recognized the voice, it was familiar, but you couldn't remember where you had heard the voice before until you turned around. Your (M/p) stood behind you with the same (H/c) hair and the same (E/c) eyes. Whispering your name again your (M/p) vanished and left you behind. Sighing you started walking, but there was nowhere to go. There was only a ground you could stand on, nothing more. In the end you gave it up and stayed where you were. You started crying. You wanted to be back at camp. With Nico and your friends. You wanted your boyfriend to kiss you all night long, to hold you in his arms and  to whisper your name. Only then you realized the truth. Your were dead. You died.

Nico's P.O.V:

My one and only, my (Y/N), died in my arms. She had looked at me so lovingly and she had whispered my name. Tonight I would attend her funeral even if I didn't want to. I couldn't believe she had actually died. (Y/n) had been so powerful and beautiful. I couldn't believe she wasn't here with me. I wanted her to be here. She had been everything to me and she had promised to stay by my side no matter what. That was when I started crying. She was dead. She wouldn't come back to me, never again.

"(Y/n), why did you leave me? I love you...why did you go? I need you...", tears were streaming down his face. I had told her that I should go with her to keep her safe and she had refused. Now she was dead and I was alone. Was I the reason for her death? There was a faint knocking on the door breaking my thoughts. Sobbing I opened the wooden door and looked right into Jason's blue eyes. He looked so worried.

"Nico? You alright?", he asked making his way into my cabin. Jason turned around to look at me. I shook my head.

"I should be dead, not her...she was so...lovely...so incredible...I can't believe she's not here with me anymore...I can't stand that, Jason", the I started crying again. The blond seemed to be uncomfortable. Of course he was. Normally I didn't like people near me, even though I had loved to have (Y/n) around. Quietly Jason walked over to me and pulled me into a comfortable hug. I didn't stop crying for an hour. She wouldn't come back...she had never returned from her quest, had not seen the camp again before she had died. How could that be fair? It was not.

Your P.O.V:

The light was  too bright, you had to close your eyes. However when you opened them, you weren't surrounded by white things and bright light. You recognized the hill of Camp Half-Blood and the sun and the sky. You recognized the peoples' voices shouting names and stupid things. You were at home. Blinking you turned around to see your boyfriend's father. He showed a slight smile, nothing more. Then he disappeared. Happily you turned around running down the hills and ignoring the confused stares of the others. You had to see Nico, you had to tell him how much you loved him. Finally you saw the Hades cabin. Jason was about to leave it as you arrived. His eyes widened in surprise and confusion.

"You're supposed to be dead", he said.

"Obviously I'm not!", cheering you hugged him quickly before knocking on Nico's door. He shouted something like 'Leave me alone, Jase" from the inside. Again you knocked and in the end he opened the door. It didn't take a second for him to realized who was standing in front of him. He pulled you into a tight hug. Laughing loudly you hugged back. You were glad. You were able to see Nico again, you were able to stay by his side and the reason for your ability to do that was the father Nico hated so much.

"How is that even possible?", after the hug Nico looked at you closely as if he wanted to check whether it was really you and not some illusion. It was you.

"Your father...I don't know how, but he saved me...I love you so much, Nico!", you pressed your lips on his. This wasn't a dream, this was real and you were happy to be right here right now.
