Anastasia

Three months earlier

"Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth" - a great man once said. But, in the early hours of the morning, my only wish is for the sun to be hidden away for a very, very long time. My room has no curtains, so the blinding light reaches all corners of my bedroom.

"Annie," a sing-song voice calls. A moment later, Luna bounds into my room, followed by Amelie.

Luna looks like a squirrel: All bright eyed and bushy tailed - how does she do that so early?! Then I remember what she is. Ah yes, my dear Luna is a creature who does not need sleep. Her nature is to be awake and energised to the max.

Lucky for some.

Amelie, on the other hand, looks disheveled and grumpy. Perhaps she flew somewhere last night, somewhere off the grounds? Her long, brown hair tumbles down her back in loose waves. Her usually golden eyes are dull and sad. What went on last night?

"Good morning," Luna chirps, plopping down on the bed. Her grey eyes are filled with excitement, making me nervous. "Did you sleep well?"

I nod. "Did you?" I joke. It's always an on-going joke, that is. You'd be surprised how open we are about ourselves.

"I slept wonderfully. Did you, Lie?" She turns her attention to a pissed-off-looking Amelie.

"Yeah," she sighs, climbing onto the bed. She crawls to the top and gets into the covers. "My night was just peachy."

Luna giggles at my confused look. "She went off-grounds last night," she begins. "And met a boy."

Lie groans and covers herself with the duvet. "Go on then, tell Annie what you're dying to tell her!"

"He's a demon!" Lu practically yells.

"Jeez, do you want to yell that louder? I don't think they heard you in Australia!" Lie shouts, her voice muffled by the duvet.

"A demon?!" I ask Amelie. "Of the underworld?"

"No... I mean yes, but... Aaron isn't like the others!" She claims, shoving the covers off herself. "He's good!"

"There's no such thing, moron!" Luna says, rolling her eyes.

Luna is right. Demons are the devil's people! They survive and thrive on the pain of innocent souls! This 'Aaron' boy is intriguing, mind. If he were a bad demon, then Amelie would have been in danger, and they would have fought! But apparently not.

Different theories suggest 'good demons' are real and are in our world, but everyone discarded the theories quickly. They seemed too preposterous! Good demons simply didn't exist, people thought. But that being said, the human world doesn't think we exist either.

It's now nine o'clock. Luna, Amelie and I are making our way to training. Gotta keep those skills tuned! But I wish the training arena wasn't on the other side of the estate! Of course, Lie could fly there, Lu could run there faster than you could say 'training arena' and me... What the hell am I supposed to do? Make the arena closer to me by moving the earth? Just... No.

"I was thinking of seeing Aaron again tonight," Lie says, dragging me away from my thoughts. The girls always walk with me, which is real nice of them! "He said he wanted to hang out more."

"I don't think you should see him! He's a demon, for Christ's sake!" Luna exclaims. "He'll hurt you in one way or another. Then what? We'll have a war on our hands. Next thing you know, we're dead. Gone. Is that what you want?"

"No, of course not! But he's not like that! He's good!"

I sigh deeply. They're like squabbling siblings sometimes! "If he was bad, he would have killed her. Or at least tried to," I point out. "Maybe he is good."

"Don't be ridiculous! Demons plot, and scheme! It's not just about killing!" Luna says.

"Well, in my experience, it always has been just about killing!" I turn to Amelie. "You should invite Aaron over."

"Ok, now that is just plain stupid! Even if he is good, there's other people to think about! Like Riviera and Isabellia! They'd try and kill him, and he'd try and kill them!"

"They're your pets... They have to listen to you if you say no!" Lie says. "Besides... He was fine with Leonardo and Szpofyiyahnah!"

"You let him near them?" Lie nods. "Jeez," she groans.

"They like him, and didn't sense anything wrong with him!"

"I don't care! You can't bring him here!"

"I will do what I want to do, thanks!" Lie yells before spreading her wings out fully. "You are so annoying!" She flaps her wings and rises off the ground.

I call after her but it's no use. She disappears behind a cloud.

Amelie

I'm so angry.

Who the hell does Luna think she is?! I'm the oldest, and if I want to bring a GOOD DEMON to our home, then I will! It's not for her to decide! She doesn't control me or who comes onto the estate!

"Are you ok?" A soft voice calls from behind me. I turn around to see Aaron. "You seem disheartened." His green/blue eyes bore into my golden ones.

"Yeah, just had a fight with my friend," I sigh.

He walks over to where I'm sitting and slumps down next to me. Our feet are dangling over a cliff. "What was the fight about?"

"You, actually."

He sweeps his hand across his face, pulling the fringe out of his eyes, whilst smiling cheekily. "About me, huh?"

"Yeah. See my friend thinks you're bad."

"Oh." His smile fades. "I suppose you do too?"

"Not at all. You would have killed me if you were bad - or at least tried to have killed me."

He chuckles. "What's that supposed to mean, ay?" He nudges me gently. "I'm sure I could take on a cute little angel."

I grin and say, "Yes, you could... But you wouldn't win."

"Maybe we'll have to fight it out and see?"

"Nah, I'd miss your pretty face."

END(:

A/N: Hey! So this is part two! Any clues on what Luna and Anastasia are?! Hmm!

Aaron is going to be played by Joey Graceffa (because reasons;))... I'll put his picture on the side:3 I know he may not have green/blue eyes, but come on...work with me here!

Hope you enjoyed!
