Chapter three: first day of school part one.

"Normal is an opinion, made up by those in a society in which they believe their actions are 'normal'"
-Abbey Barnes

Ally's POV

I didn't sleep, at all. Not a wink. So naturally I'm more tired than a cat on a lazy day. "Ally, it's 7 am should we start to get ready"? Jack asked, sitting up and checking his clock by his bed. "Yeah we or probably should, maybe get a head start so we can get to class on time" I replied.

We woke May and Henry up and started to get ready. The bathroom was amazing, it had a shower, a huge bath tub, a toilet and a pretty basin. I had a very quick shower and let everyone else have some hot water too. I didn't want to use all the hot water considering there was a lot of other students here as well.

We ate breakfast, packed our books into our bags and headed out the door. We walked down the halls where we were given curious glances, disgusted glances, and outright staring. To be honest it was quite intimidating considering these people all knew each other.

The housing area was quite far from the schooling area but we didn't bother to look for our lockers right now, considering the bell was about to go. Jack leaned in and whispered, "Ally, they are staring at us, I would give them a stare back but I'm a little intimidated, could you like stare back at them for me"? I looked at his face and saw how pale he looked, Jee whiz he was kinda scared, so I did what any best friend would do....

I hugged him. Jack is probably the cutest guy I've ever met but he isn't the hottest. I care for Jack in a brotherly way. He's like the little brother I never had. As I pulled back his caramel eyes stared into my own and his cheeks had a little more colour. I smiled at him and he smiled softly back. I looked at May and Henry and they nodded back.

We walked into our first class, geography. Why we were put in here? I do t know. I mean they obviously didn't give us any electives so basically it was suck it up, or in Henry's opinion, "be flexible and not let them get to you". The teacher waved us in from by the door and we shuffled in together.

"You must be the uh transfer students" she said, unkindly. Like she was grossed out by us. Like we were a piece of food she touched when washing the dishes. We ignored her rude tone but nodded. She pointed at four seats at the back and said "sit there and pay attention".

We took our seats and waited for her to begin the lecture. It seemed they didn't call a roll here, not like back home. A knock came from the door where 2 boys walked in, both incredibly handsome, but definitely trouble. Well one of them was, one of them looked like just an ordinary hot dude, but the Other one, his outfit, way of walking and tone he addressed the teacher in screamed bad boy. He glanced over at us and sauntered to the desk next to ours like he owned the place. His brother sat on the other side of him.

The teachers voice caught my attention. "You will have a seating plan, which will be chosen by me, not in alphabetical order but by however I want to sit you. Ok so let me just get a look at what I'm working with" her eyes scanned over the 15 of us that we're here. Obviously not many people took geography. She tapped her pen and glanced at the boy beside us.

"Ok you know what I'm just gonna call your names off the computer system and point to your new seat, ok May-Anne Duhbrey-" "it's Dubrey, like do-bree" May said. The teacher (who's name I still don't know) just looked at her and said "sitting next to Henry Haddom, Malcom Danily next to Diane Greysin, Jaycee next to Jack Oculus" the hot ordinary guy sat next to Jack who just kept his eyes focussed on his desk, Jaycee held out his hand and Jack shook it gently. "Mary next to Harry, Theo next to olive, Jayden Next to Ally Brichart-" "miss its Brichart, like brick-heart" I said softly. She glared at me in response and pointed to my seat. "That leaves eddy to be by himself ok class get out your books and do page 22 quietly" then she turned and walked out of the class. I looked at my partner and opened my mouth to ask a question when he said "so you're the from the poor person exchange"

My mouth snapped shut quickly. I didn't answer him, instead I worked on my book work ignoring his apologies about being mean. What a dick. The bell went and I stood up to walk over to jacks desk. He smiled at his partner, Jaycee I think it was, and turned to look at me. "Hi I'm Jaycee nice to meet you" Jaycee held his hand out smiling brightly. "I'm Ally, nice to meet you to Jaycee" and shook his hand. "I was just asking Jack if you guys wanted to join us for lunch today" he asked nicely. "Um sure I guess, where?" I replied. "Uhh at the football fields, that's where I normally sit, considering I'm a nerdy loner and gay and all" he said back. I nodded to him and he skipped out the door, he skipped. Jack was grinning goofily.

Oh my gosh, "Jack are you gay too" I asked. Jack turned bright red and nodded slowly. I squealed and hugged him tightly. My little baby is a gay baby. Aww at least he can't get preggers. "You are now my favourite ship, jackcee or Jake? Ooh Jake it is" I murmmed to myself. Jack sighed and face palmed. I grinned innocently at him. We walked out the door and out to second period.

Second period was much better than the first. The teacher was nicer and we had a class I was actually good at, biology. Currently we were doing genetics and I was ahead, I felt so smart compared to the other kids, biology was my strong point back home.

Then it was lunch.............
