Two days past after making the bet and the city of Ikebukuro was quiet. No vending machines flying around, it was peaceful. But one particular man with bleached hair was troubled.
"Tch, I thought that flea would show up today... Well, I guess he wasn't lying about never losing to a bet." Shizuo thought dryly.
He had finished his day shift with Tom-san, it had ended earlier than usual. Tom-san said that he needed to meet someone privately or something...
He sighed and pulled out a cigarette, lighting it and putting it in his mouth. He blew out the smoke into the frosty air. Today was January 27th, one day before his birthday. He had thought that Izaya would lose the bet and would do something perverted with him as his humiliation.
"NO, NO, NO! What am I thinking?! Yeah sure I liked that bastard but wanting to do perverted things with him?! What is wrong with me?!" The bartender clothed man blushed a deep red.
He walked towards his apartment feeling down and embarrassed at himself. He didn't realize the shadow that had been following him the whole day. Perhaps it was because he was thinking too much that he was unable to smell him or perhaps it was because the raven haired man had sprayed on a strong scented perfume.
Shizuo climbed up the stairs leading to his house. He was now wondering what kind of birthday party Shinra and Celty will throw for him tomorrow. Kasuka would probably come too... Of course Izaya wouldn't show up...
He fished out the key out of his pocket and opened the door, gently closing the door once he was inside. He opened his fridge and grabbed a bottle of milk, taking a big gulp out of it. After watching a bit of some comedy show, he headed for the shower. After he took his shower he crashed onto his bed with only his boxers on and... He couldn't sleep... So he closed his eyes and thought about tomorrow's events.
Shizuo didn't hear it but the door clicked and a small smirk could be seen in the dark.
