I couldn't believe that Ada had lied to me. There is not way in hell that Joe did that, Caspar told me all about his relationship with Lexi and from what I heard, they're head over heels for each other. Ada as the one of us that was always writing stories and coming up with fictional characters so it's no wonder that her imagination got a bit out of hand.

When Ada finally stopped knocking on my door, I called Joe just to prove to myself that it was all made up.

"Hello?" Joe asked sounding chirpy as ever.

"Hey Joe, it's Jenn!"

"Hey Jenn, what's up?" He said, a hint of confusion lacing his tone.

"Well, don't freak out okay?" I asked.

"Okay." He promised sounding unsure however.

"I got home from yours and Ada said that you made a move on her and I said she was just making it up and she was really persistent that it was true and stuff.." I explained rather quickly.

"What? That's absurd! I wouldn't never cheat on Lexi!" Joe exclaimed, shocked.

"I know! That's what I said!" I agreed.

We spoke briefly and then I was leaving my room for a protein shake. Ada sat on the sofa sobbing at Titanic as I ignored her and continued my quest. I grabbed the ingredients and whipped up the shake, taking a gulp before going back to my room.

"I wasn't lying," Ada said quietly from the couch as I walked past. I rolled my eyes in annoyance, "I would've hoped you would be the one person that would believe me." She continued.

"Well, when someone has an imagination such as yours, I should've known you would come up with something as fucked up as Joe making a move on you." I sneered. A look of pain flashed on Ada's face and for a moment I wondered if I had been too harsh.

Before I could apologise, she shoved past me so hard I nearly fell over. For a small girl, she has some muscle. I heard her door slam and I knew that she wouldn't be out until the morning. I turned off the tv and put my empty shake holder into the sink to be washed tomorrow.

It's only been a day of living with her and we've already had an argument. Just as I was about to go to my room, again, my phone went off in my pocket.

"What?" I said irritably.

"Jenn? It's Caspar." He mused, completely unaware of the tension surrounding me.

"Oh, it's just you. Um, what's up?" I asked trying to seem chatty even though all I wanted was to sit and cry into a good John Green book.

"I was going to see if you wanted to come over to mine? Joe said you and Ada aren't on great terms and-" I cut him off.

"I'll go pack a bag." I smiled, finally going to my room. He said he would text me his address so I continued packing my bag with some essentials. I decide to leave a note for Ada just so I didn't seem like a complete bitch.

Ada,
I'm sorry for what I said. I know words hurt and I'm sorry for being horrible. Please forgive me?
If you're reading this, I'm at Caspar's. I had to get out for a bit and clear my head and I'm sure it would've been easier for you to do that without me in the apartment.
We can talk tomorrow, I love you.

I placed the note on the table and headed out into the cold night of London and to Caspar's flat.
