Chapter 9- FBF

Ada

I can't fucking believe this. Jenn is refusing to accept that this online image of Joe Sugg is not how he is in real life. And she said to me that she couldn't believe someone like him would ever go for a girl like me. Like what the fuck?
About an hour after I hear the door slam upstairs and cautiously, unlock my door. I creep upstairs to find a note:

Ada,
I'm sorry for what I said. I know words hurt and I'm sorry for being horrible. Please forgive me?
If you're reading this, I'm at Caspar's. I had to get out for a bit and clear my head and I'm sure it would've been easier for you to do that without me in the apartment.
We can talk tomorrow, I love you.

Not knowing what to think of this, I leave it and grab my filming equipment suitcase that Jenn was supposed to take downstairs when I went out to buy food but didn't.  I lug the heavy case downstairs and hastily set up my camera. I tweet out asking for Q&A questions. Only now do I realise that I'm in pjs. Quickly I change into a pair of grey jeans and a pink sequin crop top. I release my hair from the bun and let my curls fall loose. I pin the front parts back and just put on some eyeliner, mascara and red lipstick as my skin looks pretty good.
I settle down in front of my camera and quickly open twitter on my phone.
Pressing record, I sit back and smile.

"Hi, hey, hello, now that you are here, I am Simply Adelaide but you can call me Ada. I have a new background, as you can see behind me. That is because I moved to London with Jenn! Woo! But unfortunately the day of moving in - or yesterday as it's known - wasn't very good for me. Maybe it was just all the emotions of leaving America and returning to the UK, I don't know, but I am feeling pretty shitty right now. BUT it's Friday and what does that mean? ITS SIMPLY AN ASK ADA! So I went to good ol' twitter and asked you guys to ask me stuff with the hashtag #SimplyAskingAda so here we aRe!"
Looking at my hashtag, I notice something, "holy damn guys, you got it trending! That's cool. That hasn't happened before, but wow, thanks I guess? Anyway the first question is from @simplyafan_ who asks "how do you feel moving back to the UK?" Well @simplyafan_ it feels so good! I haven't been home since I left, and I missed it here. I'm going back up to Scotland soon to see my family again and I will have a meet up there. So Scotland I will see you in the next few days! The next question is from @lottielolx who asks for my current five favourite songs, so they are probably Car Radio by Twenty One Pilots cos that song is just so good ugh! Also, there is a song called Drive by Oh Wonder (see video attached) which is just so beautiful. Also there is Close As Strangers by 5sos, there's a French song I love called Avenir by Louane, and finally... Probably had to be Girls Like Girls by Hayley Kiyoko. Someone else asks 'hey Ada I love you a lot' aw love you too, 'can you show us a #fbf of you in your teen years?' Wait what's an fbf? TO URBAN DICTIONARY WE GO! Okayyyyy so 'FBF - Flash Back Friday. Typically used on a social media site, as a hashtag. #FBF' ohh so that makes Sense. Well there's a professional ballet photo of me for my friends photography portfolio of when I was about Fourteen and I will include it here (see photo attached)."
I gesture next to me before searching in my phone until I find it, "oh my god I look fucking terrified! I look like I was about to pass out! As you can see my hair has always been long, I have always been ridiculously pale, and I am strangely flexible. Actually that pair of shoes are the pair I have kept forever because they were the pair I wore for my first ever professional part in a big ballet company. I got a standing ovation so I feel like they are lucky."
I answer about ten more questions ranging from the sensible to the hilarious, before I find my final one.
"@simply.sxgglet asks if I have met any of the British YouTuber Crew yet. I have actually, I'm living very near to two of the British Crew's boys - not naming anyone - and I met them. It was interesting to say the least. Warning, sometimes the way someone is online, isn't real. So that's it from me today! Thanks for all your questions and sorry if I didn't answer yours! I finish up the video and download the footage to my laptop from the camera.
Okay how about an early trip to Glasgow? Time to pack and leave.

*An hour later*

I'm all packed and have my plane ticket booked to Glasgow. My taxi is outside and I leave the flat. Just as I turn the corner past Jaspar's house I can hear the door open and Jenn and Caspar's voices. I make sure I'm hidden.

"Thanks for having me Caspar, you really helped me get an understanding of the situation with Ada, Lexi and Joe." Jenn's voice rings out.

Quickly, I rush into the lift and practically run to the taxi. Soon I'm safely on a plane with my phone off, avoiding Jenn, and heading to Glasgow...
