Mae's p.o.v

"Mason what's wrong, if you called me at three in the morning then something's wrong."

He hesitated then blurted out "Maddie is missing." My heartbeat stopped for a second,"What that can't be possible!"
My thoughts were all mixed up, I rang her a two days ago and she was fine.

"I even rang her roommates, they said she hadn't been there for the last couple of days"

"Maybe she went home for the weekend" I tried to calm myself down with possible answers.
"I already rang dad and mum" Mason sighed.

"Maddie did say she wanted to catch up with her friends" I muttered scared.
"What about this if she isn't home by tomorrow, we will go and try to find her" Mason asked.
"Ok bye"

"Bye"

I put the phone down and sighed, tears dripping down my cheeks. I couldn't stop myself the tears started bawling down, Laura moaned in her sleep and opened her eyes slightly.

"You ok"
"Yeah" I muffled through tears.
"You don't look ok, do you want to go down to Cibo and we can get some lattes?"
"Ok"

We were out the door in 5 minutes and the tears had stopped.
We walked in the moonlight quietly, I lost track of time. I finally glanced up, to ask the time. Laura wasn't there, I was in the middle of nowhere and my phone was missing. I turned around..........

Mason's pov
Guilt rushed through me when I ended the call. It was for their sake, you have not betrayed them I reashored myself.
It will be worth it in the end, I flopped onto the bed I was given days earlier.

"They need to know at some point of their life" my older brother Camren was standing in the the door way.
"They're to young!" I felt anger rush through my veins.
"Calm down Mason, we got told at their age. Anyway they will start to notice things"

"But they won't if we prevent him from getting to them!"
"We can't, his army is to strong to defeat" Camren retorted back. " Laura and Lucky will bring them here safely, and that is all that matters."

"Leave, get out of my room!" I flipped my body over on my bed.

Mae's POV

My body froze, as I heard a voice in the distance. I slowly backed away, unaware of someone behind me, a bag was flung over my head. I tried to get out of the persons grip, but it was to strong so I started screaming instead. A rag went over my mouth and that was all I remembered.

Bright light greeted me as I woke up, last night came to me as a blur as I slowly sat up. I was surprised to see that I had been placed in a bed and not a grave, dead.

The room was dull with grey walls, there was a small sink in one corner and a single bed in the other. I pulled the covers off my body and placed my feet on the cold stone floor. The door was creaked open a smidge, I tip toed over to it and poked my head through.

I smiled at the view of Camren, I started running toward him when two body guards grabbed my hands,
"Get off me, he's my brother" I yelled out of breath. Camren turned to face me, his eyes were cold, staring right through me.
"Take her back to her cell and lock it" he answered.

The guards started dragging me back to my cell.
"Camren it's me Mae, your sister" I shouted trying to get my footing.
"Get her out of here, now!"
"Wait, please" I pleaded. They kept on going, dragging me behind, my brother had turned around and continued to talk to a women about my age. She had dirty  blonde hair and pale skin, my hair was dark chocolate brown with lighter strikes, and my skin had always been a light olive.
