We'd both finally reached the front door of Peters house (He was in his normal clothes.). I held his hand tightly as he knocked on the door. Aunt May answers it and puts her arms around us both. "We're so glad you made it home okay.". She says smiling. I step into the house and smile at Aunt May as she holds the door open for us both. My mom was standing exactly opposite me until she stepped forward and squeeze me tightly. Howard, Phillip and Simon all rushed towards me for a group hug. We were interrupted by Aunt May who said to us all " Dinners ready would you all like to sit up. Peter rubbed his hands together and replied "Yes please. That looks delicious.".
We all sat down at the table. Philip, Howard and Simon sat opposite me and Peter who were next to each other. Aunt May sat at the far end of the table. My mom sat at the other end next to me. We all had a bowl of lasagne. Which was amazing because Aunt May cooks it perfectly and I adore lasagne. No one spoke for the whole meal until my mom asked me "So Gwen who took you?". I looked up at her annoyed and replied "Can we talk about this later?"
"Why?" my mom snapped. I sighed and said "Because I just.....I just...." my heart started beating really fast and I couldn't her what anyone was saying. I felt really hot and out of breath. Suddenly everything went blurry. I felt someone shake me and I could only just about her someone shout "Gwen!".I snapped out of it and saw everyone staring at me in the most concerned look. My mom handed me a glass of water and put her hand on my shoulder. Peter said to me "Just take some sips of water and some deep breaths okay.". I nodded. Aunt May stood up and walked over to me " I think you need some fresh air.". I nodded and Peter stood up "Would you like someone to go with you?". This time I wanted to be alone. I don't know why I just did. I shook my head, swung my coat over my shoulders and slowly stepped into my shoes. "Be back as soon as you can dear.".
I closed the door behind me and leaned up against it. "What on earth happened." I said to myself. There was a bench that I loved to go sit on whenever I felt like just being alone or when me and Peter organised a date we would usually meet there.
Once I'd arrived the wind that was blowing had slightly picked up. I was completely zoned out until I heard someone shout my name. I looked over my shoulder to see who it was. "Skye!" I replied. I haven't seen Skye for ages and when I say ages I don't mean a few weeks I mean maybe a year. Skye sat down next to me on the bench and asked me "So how have you been its been so long since we've seen each other."
"I've been okay how have you been?"
"Great.". I smiled and nodded at her response. There was a long awkward silence until it was broken by Skye pointing into the distance and staying "Hay look at that.". I looked to see what she was pointing at buried couldn't see anything of interest. "What?" I asked aimlessly looking around. Skye pointed again "Look the old clock tower!".
I sighed "Yeah what about it."
"Apparently something really bad happened there."
"What are you insinuating?" I asked.
"Apparently someone had a live threatening accident there." Skye continued.
"They're okay." I said sternly.
"What makes you so sure?"
I sighed and replied "You're looking at her.".Skye's gore dropped and she stuttered for words. I needed someone to talk to this about that wasn't Peter, my mom or my brothers. I knew I could trust Skye to help me out in what ever is going on.
