I walked hand in hand with Gwen to a small restaurant and we sat down at a table. "So" I said "how is your roommate ?". Gwen sighed "Well her name is Tee and she hates me."
"That rhymed." I replied giggling. "My roommate is called Matt and he is okay I guess. We haven't really talked much. I walked in said hi and he simply nodded.".
"Oh." Gwen laughed. I smiled.
"What are you smiling at?" she asked. "I'm just happy to be her with you and like I always say your laugh is adorable.". Gwen giggled once more and said to me "Wait didn't you have a ground rule against that?"
"I think we've broken way to many ground rules to be worried about them any more.".

The waiter walked over to us and asked want we would like to drink. Gwen replied with "I'll just have a Coke please." and I replied with "I'll have the same.". After the waiter had walked away I said to Gwen "Aren't you going to have wine?" to which she replied to "Aren't you going to have beer?"
"I'm being responsible because you shouldn't swing and drink.". Gwen's laugh enlightened me once again.

By the time we'd order our food we'd both forgotten about our roommates and Gwen started to talk about classic crime in England. "In victorian times loads of boys used to pick pocket rich people. Also I had to tell you this Pete but I think Jack the Ripper is kind of dead."
"Oh that's a shame I wanted to be the one who had the title of defeating him." .

Gwen's phone started to ring, she looked down at the screen and told me it was her mom. She hesitantly put the phone to her ear and said "Hey mom..... Yeah we've settled in fine.... The rest of Gwen's conversation was flooded out by my deep thinking. I thought of how lucky I was to have her and how lucky I was to be with her right here right now. ".....Okay love you bye.". Gwen placed her phone back onto the table. "That was mom."
"I gathered.".

Once we'd both finished our meals we took a stroll through the city. Gwen thanked me for the meal. Whilst we were sitting on a bench Gwen asked " Am I spoiled?" I looked up confused "What? No why?". Gwen looked down and fiddled with her fingers "Oh someone once said something along the lines of that."
"Who?"
"Oh just someone."
"Was it recently this person said it."
"You could say that.". I held Gwen's hand and told her "Who ever said must've been extremely jealous of you and I advise you not to listen to anything else they say."
"Okay." Gwen replied. I leaned in to kiss and we did so passionately.
