I tiredly wake up, and my head is buzzing. All the events of yesterday come crashing back to me. I groan pulling my cozy blankets over my face. I slowly drift back to sleep.

"Bay, come to me," Harry floats down to me and begins to sing. We are in a meadow surrounded by blooming lilies. The sky is bright, and everything feels warm. His face gets closer to mine. Harry leans in and whispers something in my ear, but I can't hear anything. He draws away from me with a twisted smile.

The dream changes.

The warmth is stripped away from me and replaced by a grisly atmosphere. I am now on a sinking boat on the ocean during a storm. The waves are crashing and thundering into dangerously sharp rocks churning the foam underneath. I hear screams, but Harry is still singing the same song with the same voice. He is a siren luring me to my death.

I snap awake. My breaths are heavy and sweat is everywhere. It's just a dream, Bay. It was just a dream.

I force myself to get out of bed. I'm still shaking, but unplug my phone from the charger.

Thanks for last night. Rise and shine, the morning is waiting for your smile xox -Harry

My heart beats a little faster, and my palms get even sweater. I hesitate to text him back. What do I say? I'm just going to make a fool of myself. Plus, that dream is still in the back of my mind.

"Hey, Mom," I say as I walk downstairs. She's sipping on coffee playing games on the iPad.

"Morning, Bay," She responds, "How was your snowboarding adventure last night?" Oh, right. I came home a few hours past curfew. Whoops. I tell her the story and show her my ugly ankle brace.

"So, Harry," She stands up walking over to me, "Tell me about him. Do you know him well?"

I blush, "No, well yes, kinda, I'm not sure?" She looks at me confused. I sigh and explain, "He was in an art class I switched out of freshman year. Remember? The school put me in drawing when I specifically asked for photography? Well, I was in that class for two weeks before I transferred out."

The morning goes by slowly just like how every Saturday morning does. I remained cooped up in my room playing video games escaping from the awfulness of reality.

I hear a loud buzz and grab my phone.

Bay, want to grab dinner tonight? Nothing fancy, just some Chipotle -Harry

My heart begins to race. Harry wants to see me again? Really? What about Piper? Does he have feelings for me? Questions keep running through my head. Bay, get yourself together! He just wants to hang out as friends. Chill. You've only been talking to him for a day. All he did was help you!  I continue to try and understand these feelings. Just because Harry was nice to me doesn't mean he likes me. I repeat over and over again and finally respond to his text.

Sure, sounds good

He instantly replies back surprising me.

See you at 7.
