All actions have consequences, some painful and others easier to deal with. The deception, heartbreak, revenge, appearance, and love that occurred in the Jiang ancestral home are subjects that spread rapidly. Gossip and speculation emerge from the mouths of the people, who often recount what happened in a way that differs from the truth.

Some say the imposter, who hasn't revealed themself yet, is known by the Jiangs, but they choose to remain silent out of gratitude and to avoid unnecessary chaos. Nie Huaisang has managed to evade punishment, but Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli find themselves in trouble as Yu Ziyuan uncovers their involvement in the scheme.

The imperial family is devastated upon discovering the revenge that has wreaked havoc on their plans for peace. Amidst the chaos, a light of hope emerges as Xie Yun has the lost prince's scarf, which he claims as his own. Taking him to Gusu and performing specific rituals, the ancestors of Lans identify Xie Yun as their second prince. His coronation and naming ceremony are quickly arranged, with the entire empire buzzing with excitement and anticipation. He is spoiled by his family, who gives him whatever he wants, so two new rules are established in its wake.

The crown prince, on the other hand, finds his mate in Su Minshan's daughter, Su Jingyi. Initially, he is confused and shocked to find his family treasure for his future mate in her hair, but after talking and getting to know her better, he falls in love with her gentle and kind-hearted nature. His parents accept her and let her stay in the palace since she has no one but her father, who is sentenced to lifelong imprisonment for his crimes.

Everything falls into place as the days turn into weeks and months, with light dancing in the palace once again. Both princes' marriages are set for the same day, with a grand celebration planned to honor their unions, but they hold off for a year to allow the unnecessary gossip and rumors to settle down. The Jiangs respect the decision to wait and use the time to teach Jiang Ying the customs and traditions of the palace.

Important: Xie Yun and Jiang Ying are forbidden from seeing each other, talking to each other, sending letters, or meeting during this year as punishment for entertaining the crowd with their shameless affection. Both of them resist the decision, but it has already been made, and they have no choice but to accept it.

Lotus Pier bursts like a pomegranate with energy as servants, lords, and ladies scatter around, greeting guests and making last-minute preparations. The place itself is decorated with purple and white banners, glowing scarlet lanterns dangling from rooftops, and fresh lilac petals blowing in the wind. The pond's fragrance, filled with precious lotuses, attracts guests and children, causing them to stop for a moment to admire it all.

"Beautiful!" Jiang Yanli says, a smile spreading across her face as she takes in the scene before her.

"Just like you, sister." Jiang Cheng turns at the sound of his sister's voice, his heart leaping with joy at the sight of her standing there in her vibrant yellow robes. "When did you come? Did your husband leave you alone in this condition?" he asks, glancing at the bulge of her pregnant belly.

Jiang Yanli laughs, placing a gentle hand on her stomach. "Just for a bit to talk to Father," she replies, her smile never fading. She and Jin Zixuan married six months ago, as they have grown to care for each other lately. "Where is A-Ying? Did he wake up early to meet the second prince after a long year?"

"Who? He?" Jiang Cheng chuckles, shaking his head. "But not to worry; Mother takes charge of him."

Jiang Yanli nods, a soft look of affection crossing her face. She knows how mischievous Jiang Ying can be, always getting himself into some sort of trouble, but she trusts that their mother will keep him in line. "We can help Father with the decorations then," she suggests, eager to contribute in any way she can.
