An Elegy for My Paramour
By: cofeeandstories
Under that azure moon our palms with ardor interlaced
You gazed at me and spread a beam on your comely face
Beguiled was I yet my eyes abruptly shed tears
For it was said that tonight is the main arrival of my fears
A tale about amity interfered by death
Oh why is her life the payment for my owed debt?
A silhouette pressed a kiss upon the base of her lips
It seized her life and in pain her breath slipped
Her frigid fingers caressed mine as if to bid goodbye
And she closed her eyes as I praise her with a lullaby
At the edge of the earth where you and I exist
Our love will never wither forever it shall persist
