"Hello. I know that everyone is concern about Miss Beverly Melrone. I am here to clear the rumors and suspicions about her condition," he said to everyone. I could see many people taking pictures of him and Polina.

"First, she is not with child. She and I have discussed that we will be starting a family in the future. As you all know, we have not made an official announcement of any engagement between us," he announced to them. It was true. I had discussed with him about having children in the future.

Ever since I was taken back, we decided to start a family after our marriage and when I was fully recovered from my accident. The doctors said that I would have a long road to recovery. Many other complications may erupt later in my life.

"According to the Royal Physician, her blood contained traces of arsenic. This was from the explosion that she had survived during her banishment from our kingdom. It caused her to become dizzy and very weak," he said to everyone.

I could see him gripping his cards in his hands too tight. "I hope everyone will be praying for her recovery. Right now, she is resting as the Royal Physicians are trying to heal her. Now I will be answering what ever questions you all may have for me," he said to the reporters.

One of the press stood from his seat. "Peter Barkov from Sanct Sybil Times. How are the Physicians treating Miss Melrone?" he asked him. "Currently, they are treating her with conventional medications. They determine that her liver needs to be treated as the source of the arsenic is traced there," Ivan answered him.

"Simon Hanover from Michel Chronicles. Will Sofia Kozar be charged with the poisoning Miss Melrone?" he asked him. "We are currently debating if more charges will be added to Sofia Kozar and those who were involved with the explosives," Ivan answered him.

"Natalia Rosina from Nobel Explorer. Has the Royal Physicians given a date on when she will recover?" she asked him. "As of right now, we do not know exactly when she will recover. According the the Royal Physicians, they expect to see signs of recover in a few days. If not, to a month," Ivan answered her.

"James Krum from Royal life. Is it true that you were planning an announcement of your engagement to Beverly Melrone during the Ruby Jubilee?" he asked him. Nobody was suppose to know our engagement until later.

"I will not answer that question as it does not pertain the concern for Miss Beverly Melrone health," Ivan said straight forward. I could see the seriousness in his eyes. He was trying to protect our privacy. He didn't want to talk about it at the moment.

Then, I saw a man stand up. "Nathan Hawkins from Turkov Press. There had been reports that you had been visiting the Prime Minister at his home for the past few months. Also, there had been reports that you had been spending much time wit his daughter. Will there be an engagement of the two of you?" he asked Ivan.

I was shocked by the words. I knew that Ivan had been visiting. The Prime Minister had a sinister look. {Did he plan this?} Polina looked up at Ivan. I felt really uneasy and insecure about her. Ivan had a straight face.

"We were discussing about national security of my kingdom. There will be no engagement between his daughter and I," Ivan said to him. I could see a bit of disappointment in Polina's eyes. {Is she trying to replace me?} I got really worried.

After a few more questions, Ivan left the room. I felt very tired. I laid down on the bed and fell asleep.
