Chapter 7

Maria POV
I slept over at Lukes last night because he insisted I watch a movie with him and we ended up falling asleep cuddled on the couch. I woke up to a flash. I saw Calum and flipped him off. I started getting up, realizing I fell asleep on his chest. I found my phone and put it on the charger. Not even a minute later my phone started blowing up. I looked at it and saw Calum tagged me in a photo. I opened it and saw me and Luke cuddled on the couch and Cal put my favorites😘. I replied to Calum saying Best friends are meant to be cuddle buddies. Its only the right thing to do, your just upset I didn't cuddle you. I laughed and then made me a bowl of cereal. Then saw Calum tweeted me back, man this boy is in the same room as me.
Calum5sos: Yes babe, I am a better cuddler then Luke anyways.
Me: Come on have you ever cuddled him, he's the perfect cuddle buddy.
Calum: I KNOW HE CUDDLES ME ALL THE TIME!
I stopped responding and jumped on his back.
"Dooo me a favorrr!" I said. I jumped off and he just sat down laughing.
"Come sit on Santa's lap and tell him what you want." Calum said with a wink. I sat on his lap giggling. Yes i giggled.
"Take Mikey somewhere tonight." I said cause I couldn't have Mikey all alone and I most definitely couldn't bring him to the party.
"Actually he is going on a date babe" Cal said. My eyes went wide and I screamed. MIKEY FUCKING CLIFFORD HAS A DATE.
"Oh then come to a party with me." I said and laughed. He just started tickling until I laughed so hard that I couldn't breathe.
"Why are you two so loud." Luke said walking into the kitchen. He had bed head and it was soo hot-fuck I need to stop.
"Shut up Luke" I said pushing him a little. He just picked me up and threw me on the couch, pinned me down, then started tickling the shit outta me. I grabbed his hands, which coincidently looked like we were holding hands. I moved them up and above my head, so then he was closer to me.
"Stop Daddy" I whispered. He looked down to my lips, biting his when Calum screamed from the kitchen. Luke grunted and walked into the kitchen, I was left on the couch speechless.
"Calum it's just a spider!" Luke yelled.

In the end Luke killed the spider after picking it up and throwing it at Calum which he screamed like a little girl.
"Where's my phone?" Luke yelled.
"Its on the couch!" I yelled back. He walked into the living room to retrieve his phone. As he did so I checked my phone and it was blowing up. So many comments from the picture Calum posted, the were either very rude or said otp or some shit.
"Calum!" Luke yelled, eyes wide.
"Yes Lukey" Calum said walking in with a smile.
"What the hell is this?" Luke looked pissed, which upset me. Calum always takes pictures of us when we look like a couple.
"It's a picture of a beautiful girl cuddling the ugly beast, like in the movies." I smiled at the fact Calum called me beautiful, Luke just got pissed. He walked away, I walked up to Calum and hugged him.
"If this is a movie then are you the handsome prince?" I asked in our hug.
He pulled slightly back, still having his arms around my waist.
"Obviously I mean look at me." Calum said. We both started laughing when Luke walked back in.
"Mikey wants you home." Luke said staring at Calum with rage. I kissed Cals cheek and grabbed my phone.
"Bye you two" I said and walked out the door. I was stopped before I got off the porch by someone grabbing my wrist. I turned around to be faced by Luke staring down at me.
"Do I not get a hug goodbye" Luke asked pouting.
"Not when you act like an ass." I said glaring at him.
"I'm sorry bab- Im very sorry" Luke said, it sounded like he was gonna call me baby. No he wasn't, stop it brain. But nonetheless I gave him a hug and left.

Lukes POV
I don't know what I got so upset when Maria and Calum were hugging and joking around but I felt the urge to rip Cal from her and just hold her in my arms.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard my phone ringing. Ew Victoria.
"Hello?" I said when I answered.
"Hey babe" She said, I cringed at her calling me that.
"Don't ever call me that."
"Whatever, I just wanted to say I saw the picture of you and Maria on Twitter. Lets just say I'm not happy, your mine." She said. God I can't handle her bullshit. So I hung up. She pissed at me now but I dont care, I am not in the mood. The thing the mostly pissed me off is that she gave Calum a kiss on the cheek and I had to chase her down just to get a hug.
*ding*
Maria texted me.
Party is at 8, come pick me up then. You and Calum;)
Oh yeah I agreed to go to that party with her. I looked at the time, 7:15, shit. I got in the shower.
Once I was ready to go in my black skinny jeans and red flannel I drove to pick up Maria. Cal was already over and ready. When we got there Cal moved to the back and she came out. She wore high waisted jean shorts and a crop top. You could see her belly ring. But nonetheless she looked hot.
"Hi" I said when she got in feeling ackward. Cal just giggled in the back.
"Hi" She said and kissed my cheek. And with that I drove to the party.

When we got there Ash came and greeted us.
"Hey baby" Ash said giving Maria a sloppy kiss on the cheek. This gave me a burning feeling inside. I walked right in and into the kitchen. I downed a few shots then grabbed a beer.

After the little alcohol at the beginning I stopped because I was designated driver. I look out to see where they are because its already 12. And I see Calum leaving with some girl, I think her name is Allison. Then I spot Maria, grinding on Ash. I saw him whisper in her ear and then drag her off. That burning feeling inside of me now doubled and I just wanted to kill Ashton. So I walked out and decided togo on a drive.

I thought back to when we were driving together and she climbed out of the car and onto the roof. That was when I realized Maria is perfect, and she is my everything. I just don't believe I could ever leave the friendzone. I mean I don't want to, but if I did I wouldn't be able to, I mean I am the president of her friendzone. I just want to stay there because thing will end badly if I leave my zone, I just know it. But I can't help how I am feeling and how every time we get close, I want to kiss her. I want her lips pressed against mine, not Ashtons. His name just brings the rage back, thinking about what he is doing right now. He shouldn't even be 50 feet near her.
