Chapter 8

I was broke from my thoughts when my phone started ringing. I pulled over to the side of the road and answered it. It was Maria.
"Yes babe" Wait why did I just call her babe.
"I-i need yo-you to come pick me up" She said crying. My hands became fist an my knuckles were white.
"Im on my way." I hung up and sped over there. When I got there she was sitting on the curb. Make up running down her beautiful face.
"What happened baby girl?" Damn it. Baby girl really Luke. Thank the lord she is drunk right now.
"Ash-Ashton he started calling me names and told me he cheated on me. I thought he changed. I'm just a stupid bitch. I know your probably like your not gonna remember this in the morning but I ain't even drunk." She said rambling on. I took her face in my hands and turned it so we were looking directly into eachothers eyes.
"You deserve better then him. You deserve a boy who knows how perfect you are. A man that knows you and respects you." I told her, she looked down at my lips and I realized how close we were. This time neither of us pulled away.

I leaned in and softly pressed my lips against hers, she kissed me back. Our lips were moving in sync as a million fireworks were exploding inside of me. Like a minute in the kiss I had to pull away because she took my breath away.
"Luke?" Maria said. She then raised her eyes to look me in the eyes.
"Yes" I said, scared to what she might say.
"Wh-what was that?" She was just as confused as I am.
"I don't know Maria. I have no clue." I said and we stood up to get in the car.

We drove home in complete silence, besides the music in the background. I notice she touched her lips when she was deep in thought. I can't even process what just happened, so I'm trying to know what she thinks.
"So your not drunk?" I ask. Stupid ass question Luke.
"What? You just wanna forget that that happened. Alright let's forget." She unbuckled and opened the door and jumped out. Fuck shes crazy, I know im only going like 20, but still. I saw her get up and start walking. She put her phone to her ear and started walking towards her house. I followed beside her in my car, which resulted me getting the finger from her.

Marias POV
After Luke pretty much said to forget the kiss happened I got pissed. The kiss was everything I've ever wanted. It felt like fireworks. Like we were meant to be there with eachother. After that kiss I realized I am falling for Luke Robert Hemmings. And he doesn't even want to remember it.

So I jumped and rolled out of the car. I honestly dont want to be five feet near him right now. He just ended up following me to my house in his car.

I gave him the finger before I entered my house. I saw Mikey sitting on the couch, I didnt say anything I just walked upstairs and started undressing. I put on an oversized shirt, took off my makeup and then layed in my bed. Sleep very soon consuming me.

When I woke it was to someone getting in my bed. I opened one eye and I saw Lukes face sleeping. I pushed him out of the bed. He groaned as he hit the ground. I then sprawled out to take the whole bed. Falling back asleep.

When I finally woke up I saw Luke entering my room with pancakes and chocolate milk.
"God I love you!" I said and then kissed my pancake. Luke laughed.
"Im sorry" Luke said and I looked up at him.
"Don't talk about it." I said.
"It just I really did lik-" I cut him off.
"Stop. I dont want to talk about it. You want to forget it. Well then lets forget it." I said and he walked out of my room.

I finished my food and the put the dishes on my dresser. I closed my eyes for a little till I felt my bed dip a little and felt someones breath on my face.
"What th-" I started but I was stopped by Luke's lips on mine.
"I will never forget" Luke said. Then he got up and left. He didnt say goodbye or anything. Within a few seconds I heard the front door open then close, then a car start up and drive away. That left me alone with my thoughts. A million thoughts ruing through my head, one thought for each butterfly in my stomach, and one for each spark I felt.

Im sorry this is a short update its just I really wanted to update but I've been soo busy between school and volleyball. And attempting to have a social life.
