The Ninja is Dead

Mike's jaw remained dropped for a long time. At one moment I even dropped back into the shadow just to slide my mask back on. "Mike I said.. I need your help if we are going to find her." I said my voice becoming deeper.

He looks at me then away saying. "Well.." His cellphone then ringing. Mike answering it.

"Yea.. you don't want money? Yes I'm listening. You want me to kill.. the Ninja.. ok." He says hanging the phone up. Mike grabs the gun by his side taking aim at Chris. A bullet wizzing right by his head.

Chris dissapears within the darkness. Leaving Mike looking around. The Ninja thinks to himself a moment then speaks through the large echoing room.

"Do you think it was going to be that easy?" I say circling around him. "Give up or you're going to get hurt.."

He turns around quickly pointing the gun in my direction. In one solid motion I toss him onto the floor.

Taking the gun leaving him on the ground I face away from him. "You have two options. I search her down with the limited intelligence that I have. Or you help me. You think anyone would belive you that I'm the ninja? I know these kidnappers, and sometimes they don't release there hostages even if the ransom is met... so what will it be?"

~Meanwhile at Ronald Spare's office~

An awaiting Ronald keeps his eyes at the clock. Patiently waiting. His phone vibrates sending a twisted smile on his face.

"Ah so the job has been done?" Ronald says.

"Yeah boss the Ninja is dead. Just need to get the body.. I'll kep you posted." The thug says before hanging up.

Ronald gets up grabbing a dart tossing it at the wall onto a picture of the Ninja. Really poor picture but one nonetheless. The dart peircing the head of the ninja in the picture.

"We got you now. We got you.." He said turning facing the door as someone began to walk in. "Ah miss Dreamer how we have such unpleasant news to discuss."

"Have you disposed of the clone? I hadn't thought it was fully operational." Miss Dreamer says.

"Well the funny thing about that. The clone had just woken as we was shipping it to be terminated. Our vehicle was attacked. He's.. gone. I'm sorry." He said.

"Ronald Spare we had a deal. You said you'd get rid of the clone of my son. What if he found out?" She said.

"Miss Dreamer you must not panic. You don't know that my men searched for the people who took the clone? Don't you wonder what they found?" Ronald said.

"I'm sorry just was fearful if someone found out. Please tell me" Chris's mom said.

Ronald takes her by the hand walking her over to a map. Then glancing at it a moment pointing at the coast of Aster City saying, "We followed the trail, It ended here."

"What did it look like when you got there?" She asked.

"When my men arrived they were shot at. We had to stop. All we know is the clone is long gone I'm sorry." He said.

"Maybe it's better this way."

"Maybe."

~At an almost empty parking lot~

Mike looks at his watch anxiously. Thinking that they should have been here by now. Then again these guys are crimials. How do I even know they will show, he thought.

He paced for a few minutes. Stretching his back. Getting tossed around like a punching bad wasn't the highlight of his day.

He'd think about the situation and he would begin to sweat. His hands got all shaky. Mike leaned up against his car reassuring himself. "You can do it Mike.. we have to.. for Kelly and little Mikell."

He looked up at the top of a building parallel to his car. Then turning to the street seeing a black car came into the parking lot.

Two guys get out as they walk over to Mike. "So the body? It's here?" One of them ask.

"Yea.. he's in the trunk." Mike says patting the trunk.

The other masked thug gives him a weird look saying "open it."

Mike moves the cover on Chris exposing his bloody suit and what appears a lifeless body.

The two men nod at each other crabbing opposite sides of the body lifting it. "Our boss will want to see this.."

"But what about Kelly? Where is she???" Mike says almost in tears.

"After our boss sees this.." one of the guys says tossing the body in the back of the trunk. Getting back into the black car.

"..We had a deal.."

"Yea and you just killed the only man.. in our way of running this town. Thanks." The man says rolling up his windows and driving off.

Mike tears in his eyes he breaks down. He stumbles over to his car getting in, just letting the tears flow.

~Meanwhile On the road~

"Can't belive that chump did it.." The thug that's driving said.

The one in the passenger gave him a confused look. "What does it matter? He or what ever that ninja thing is dead."

They turn down a dark alley parking at the end of it. Afterwords taking the body inside continuing to walk.

The men toss the body down feet in front of there boss. Two other armed gunmen in the room. A blue haired lady next to the boss.

At first the boss just circled around the body a few times. He began smiling a grim twisted smile walking back to his chair sitting.

"What now boss?" One of the thugs says giving him a confused look.

The boss says looking to his right. "Lower the cage." He said giving a weird hand motion.

A cage from the ceiling ever so slowly coming down. A lady banged on the cages metal bars. Besides that a mix of crying and screaming could be heard from above.

"..You bastards.. you bastards.." Kelly screamed.

The boss laughed hard to himself for a moment pointing at the ninja. "His mask.. take it off so that we can see the poor fool behind the mask."

Going to end this chapter here sorry that I was off of the day of publishing. Hope that the chapter before wasn't bad. Just highschool sucks, if I had to choose between writing all day or going to school.. let's just say I'd have a good day making you guys happy. Is the ninja really dead? Sure he'd give his life to save others but is there another way. Where is Dexter? How will Chris's relationships with both Mike and Catherine change? Can't wait to tell you the story.
