You were on your way to the Wildkat Café. Your mother told you that Mr. Hanoekoma needs a friend to work with at the Café so you thought you would go ask for a job there. Mr. Hanoekoma is like family to you so you call him Uncle H.
'I hope I can start soon if he accepts. Except tonight of course, unless I can go before the party starts', you thought. You walked up to the doors of the Café and entered.
"Hey Uncle H!", you said waving to the man behind the counter.
"Hey (y/n)! How's my dear girl doing?", he asked.
"Pretty good. I just came to ask you a question."
"Shoot kid."
"Would it be possible if I can work here. Mom and I both agree that you should have someone else work here with you so you aren't so lonely. Or at least have someone to talk to when there aren't any customers", you said.
"Well, it has been busier around here. Can you handle it?", he asked.
"Bring it", You replied.
"Haha. I love your energy kid." He tosses you an apron. "You can get started with those boys at the back table", he said.
"Wait what time are we closing tonight?", you asked.
"Ten minutes before that party down at the Scramble Crossing. Why?"
"'Cause I'm going to that and I want to head back home and get dressed before I go."
"Then how 'bout this, I let you go 10 minutes earlier."
"Really?"
"Mm-hm."
"Omg thanks! I'll get started right away", you said as you put the apron on around your waist.
You walked over to the two boys in the back and asked what they wanted. They both ordered some coffee and a couple doughnuts.
"Alright I'll be right back", you said cheerfully.
'Hm. That one boy is kind of cute. Omg no! Bad (y/n)! Just focus on the orders', You thought to yourself, but still couldn't stop catching glimpses at the cute boy.

~Neku's P.O.V.~
Joshua and me were sitting in a booth at the Wildkat Café talking. Ever since the game ended we haven't really talked much. I had to admit I kind of missed his snobby ass. We were just catching up a little when someone distracted me.
"Hey Uncle H!", she said. Her and Mr. Hanoekoma had a conversation but I couldn't tell what they were saying.
"Neku?", Joshua asked snapping his fingers in front of my face.
"Huh? What?", I asked, my attention back on him.
"Do you think I should wear this same outfit to that party or should I change it?"
"Umm, wear the same outfit I guess", I said before looking at the girl again.
"What has you so distracted Neku?", He asked as he turned his head around. "Oh I see. She's not bad looking", He said turning to face me once again.
"Yeah."
"Think she's going to the party tonight?"
"No idea."
"You should ask her if she's going", he said.
"What! No way. I'm not asking a girl, that I don't know, if she's going to a party."
Before I knew it that girl was standing next to us.
"Hi! Can I take your order?", she asked.
"Sure thing....(y/n). What do you want Neku?", Joshua asked me.
"Huh? Oh! Uh...I'll have the Caramel mocha with whip cream and cinnamon shavings."
"Cinnamon shavings. Okay! And you sir."
"Please call me Joshua. I'll just have the Mint Frappé with the whip cream and chocolate shavings, with a side of doughnuts."
"What kind of doughnuts?", she asked him.
"Umm...how about the chocolate frosted ones with the little sprinkles please."
"Alright I'll be right back.", she said cheerfully. When she was out of earshot Joshua spoke up.
"(Y/n)'s a doll isn't she?"
"Yeah.. Wait how did you know her name?"
"Her name tag Neku."
"Oh, right."
While she was getting our orders I kept taking the chance to glimpse at her now and then. She is so pretty. No that's and understatement. She's beautiful. She has (h/l), (h/c) hair and (color) eyes. We eventually both looked at each other and I looked away immediately. I felt like if she saw me looking at her she would think I'm some kind of creep.
'Its just.....I've never felt this way about someone before. Not even Shiki! I don't even know her and yet I have this feeling....', I thought. She then came back to the table with our things.
"I'm sorry we're out of the chocolate frosted doughnuts with the sprinkles. So I brought just the plain chocolate frosted ones if that's okay", she said.
"That's just fine. Now how much will it be?", Joshua asked her.
"On the house", she said with a smile.
"Really but...are you sure?", I asked her.
"Of course! It's on the house for you two being my first customers. Plus I don't think Uncle H. will mind."
"Wait he's your uncle?"
"Well not really. Him and my mom are really good friends. He treats me like family so I call him Uncle H. He's such a great guy! He's even letting me pack up 10 minutes early so I can get to the party tonight", she said.
"Oh, so your going to the town party tonight?", Josh asked.
"Of course! It's only my third year going but I still have lots of fun."
"Then we might see you there", he said.
"If you do, come and say hi alright", She said.
"Sure."
"Sweet! Got to go and get back to work. See ya!"
"Bye", Joshua and I said at the same time.
