Part 8

~Neku's P.O.V~
I woke up about 10:27 in the morning and quickly got ready. Once I got to the skate park, Beat was already there doing a half pipe. He then noticed I was there and waved to me. I walked over to him as he skated to me.
"Hey Phones, ya made it!" Beat said as he skated around me.
"Yep. So how has the past couple days been?", I asked.
"Uggggghhh! Boring. Rhyme made me take her shopping with Shiki for the past couple days. Speaking of, uh, Shiki, I need some advice."
"Advice? Like what?"
"Like how..gjjkyfbjwkh."
"What?"
"How to...nsdgsj."
"What?"
"How to ask Shiki out!", Beat yelled.
"Wait you actually want to go out with Shiki?"
"Well yeah. Who wouldn't? I mean she is so nice and creative - who wouldn't want to be with that?"
"Fair enough", I said. I walk over to a rack of skateboards and grab one with a bunch of skulls on it. "If you want to ask Shiki out, just tell her you like her and would like to go out with her."
"But that seems too simple."
"Exactly. If it's simple than it's easier."
"I don't know man", Beat said as he rubbed his neck.
"Well why don't you think about it while we skate. Just, try not to kill yourself in the process."
"No promises."
I smiled at him and got on the skateboard.

~(Y/n)'s POV~
I got a text from Shiki the next morning asking if I wanted to go with her and Rhyme on a walk because Beat and Neku are going to the skate park. I didn't really have anything else to do since today is Sunday. I usually work on Sunday's but Uncle H. gave me the day off. So I replied telling her I would love to go on a walk and would meet them in 20 minutes. When I meet up with them we all decided that we should visit other places we haven't been to. So we walked around town looking through store or markets, trying to find decent things. At one point me and Rhyme had to pull Shiki away from a market because the Prince was there. We ended up by a park of some sorts and didn't recognize it.
"Hey Shiki, is this the skate park?", Rhyme asked.
"I believe so", she replied.
We walked around the park a little, looking at the artwork and graffiti people have left behind. It was very impressive. Soon we started seeing pipes and ramps spread about on the ground, so we definitely are at a skate park. Out of nowhere we heard guys yelling at each other.
"Is that the best you can do?", one voice said.
"What? You think you could do better?", the second voice yelled.
Then we seen someone do a 360 in midair and realized it was Beat.
"Woohooo!", we all cheered. Beat seemed to then lose his balance and fell to the ground. We all gasped and ran over to his side.
"Are you alright Beat?", Rhyme asked.
"Yeah, I'm alright", he said giving us a smile.
"Are you sure? You're not bleeding are you? Do you have a concussion? How many fingers am I holding up?", Shiki asks holding up 3 fingers.
"3 Shiki. Look I'm fine - I just crashed is all." Shiki then wraps her arms around Beat and tells him how worried she is about him. I smile at how cute they look when I feel an arm snake around my waist.
"What are you doing here?", Neku asked.
"Rhyme, Shiki and I were walking around town and we found this park."
"Aw, so it's not the fact that you missed me?"
"I always miss you silly."
"I missed you too", he said as he hugs me from the back.
I smile at him and turn to look at Shiki scolding Beat for being 'too reckless'.
"When do you think they are gonna end up together?", I quietly asked.
"Hm... Probably not for a looong time", Neku responded.
"Yeah you're probably right. Hey I gotta get going but I'll text you when I get home alright?"
"Alright, I'll talk with you later", Neku said as he gave me a quick peck on the cheek.
As I walked home I felt that the atmosphere had changed. I constantly looked behind me, feeling as if someone was following me. Suddenly I felt someone come up from behind and cover my mouth with one of their hands and pulled me into the alleyway.
"I'm very sorry about the rude hello." As the hand left my mouth I turned to see the one and only Joshua.
"You couldn't have just said 'hey how are you', first?"
"Sorry - I would love to catch up but now is not the time. I have a favor to ask of you."
"Alright, whatcha need?", I asked.
"I can't exactly tell you right now, but follow me please."
I carefully followed Joshua further down the alley wondering what he needs my help for. Soon we were in the end of the alley and there is little to no light.
"I need your help with a game."
"A...game?"
"Yes, that is really all I can explain right now but I promise I will explain more later", Joshua said.
"Alright. Well I will talk with you later then", I said turning to walk out of the alley.
"I'm sorry about this."
'Click'
My eyes widen as I turn to face him again.
"Jos-"
'Bang'

~Omg I feel so bad because I haven't updated this story. *Gives each person a tub of their fav ice cream* I was planning on updating a lot sooner but things came up. I know I'm a terrible writer but I really hope you guys enjoy this story. It means a lot to me that I have almost 800 reads on this. I hope that you guys will continue reading this and any other stories I have written. Also if you guys have any requests or ideas I would love to hear them. I will literally write them down!
