Part 12

~Neku's POV~
"No way! Absolutely not!!", I yelled.
"Neku please? You're the only one who can help me."
"Why should I go back into that hellhole huh?"
"Because you want (y/n) back don't you?"
"Of course! But what does she have to do with this?"
"Well you see my dear Neku. I brought her into this place and I'm the only one who can bring her back out."
"Wait! You killed her??!?! You killed my fucking girlfriend?!?!?! I'm gonna kill you!!!", I yelled as I ran towards the bastard.
"Neku please listen!", (Y/n) said as she pulled me away from the idiot. " I agreed to this."
"What?!"
"Joshua told me he needed my help so I agreed. Of course I didn't know he was gonna kill me but this was the only way he could get to you."
"(Sigh) why couldn't you just ask me?"
"Because you wouldn't agree to help."
"True", I stated.
"So are you gonna help me?"
"And if I do you will bring (y/n) back right away so she's not in danger?", I asked.
"Of course!"
"(Sigh) alright. But I'm not helping for you I'm helping for (y/n)'s safety."
"That's all I ask", Joshua said. He then nodded to (y/n) and motioned for me to follow him into the alley behind the café.
"Is this gonna hurt?"
"Did it hurt the last time?"
"Yeah."
"Then it will definitely hurt", he said with a smile.
"Just do it already." Joshua then pointed his gun towards me and I heard a gunshot. I felt dizzy as the world began to go black.

(Timeskip to 15 later)

As I open my eyes I feel a pain in my chest.
"Oh! You're finally awake."
"How long was I out?"
"About 15 minutes."
"Okay. Now what's the plan?", I asked.
"Well you need to practice your skills before we go into combat. After we practice some I will send (y/n) back so she is out of harm's way. We defeat the traitor and boom I send you back."
"That's it?"
"Pretty much so, yeah."
"Alright how long will practice take?"
"Depends on you."
"Okay well let's get started.

~(y/n)'s POV~
After I heard the gunshot I knew it was done. Neku returned to the game. I was feeling quite proud of him for deciding to help. At the same time, though, I felt worried. I don't know who this traitor is and j don't know how powerful he is. I started to think of all the bad things when Uncle H - I mean dad, walked into the café.
"Hey kiddo! Why the long face?"
"Im just worried about Neku. I ended up getting him to follow me hear and Josh told him everything. Neku decided to help him but I'm scared. Whoever this person is that they're fighting I want to know that Neku will be okay. This traitor might be so powerful that Neku dies again. What will I do if that happens? Without Neku I-", I stopped talking because I began to cry. I hated how I was emotional but I can't really help it. My dad walked over to me and wiped away my tears.
"You don't have to worry about Neku okay. I've seen that kid fight and I'll tell you he is amazing. He'll probably send that bastard crying to his mama."
"Hehe, (sniff) you think so?"
"I know so. Sweetie you don't have to worry about him. He is gonna be alright."
"Okay (sniff)." Dad then smiled at me as he got behind the counter and tossed me my apron.
"Ready to work?"
"You know it!"

(timeskip to a few hours later)

Hours have gone by and I still haven't heard any update on Neku or Joshua. I was wondering if the training was going alright when I heard to doors open. Joshua and a tired Neku walked in and sat down.
"Are you alright?", I asked Neku.
"Yeah, I'm just worn out. There was so much noise out there to defeat."
"What are noise?"
"They are creatures that fight off the people in the game.", Joshua said.
"Ah", was my only response.
"So what is the plan now?", My dad asked.
"Well we are gonna retire for the night and in the morning Neku and I are gonna find the one responsible and destroy them once and for all. But right before we leave to go into battle, I will have (y/n) return back to the RG."
"Okay, well you kids should get some rest for tomorrow. I don't want anything bad happening because you two didn't get enough sleep."
"Yes sir", Neku said. Dad then closed up the shop and Joshua went upstairs.
As I was about to go upstairs as well, Neku grabbed my wrist. I turned around to face him and he was looking at the ground, with his hair covering his eyes.
"(Y/n), whatever happens I want you to know that I love you and I hope that you'll always think of me. And if I happen to die.... I want you to move on and find someone else that makes you happy."
"Neku... I know that everything will be okay."
"But how do you know that? I've practices for hours and I still don't think I'm ready. What if-"
I cut him off by kissing his lips. He was shocked at first but he soon relaxed and wrapped his arms around my waist. As we parted I put both my hands on his cheeks and looked him straight in the eyes.
"You will be okay. I believe in you. You will defeat that bastard and come back to me. Alright?"
"Alright", he said as he gave me a smile. I smile back and we go upstairs and fall asleep.

Forth chapter tonight!!!! Yahoo! Super excited!!! So i was wondering if you guys would want a lemon in the story. Of course it would be later on but I was curious to see if you guys want me to write one in here. Even if one person wants it in here I will make it so. Please comment your opinion about this so I can work on it right away.
