Part 4

~Neku's P.O.V.~
The next morning I woke up and quickly called Beat asking him to come over. I was so nervous I don't know what to do. I don't even know where to take (y/n) on a date! I paced back and forth in my room until Beat rushed in.
"Yo!" He said.
"Beat! I need your help!" I said as I grabbed his shoulders.
"U-uh alright. What do you need?"
"Where should I take (y/n) on our date later?"
"Um how about the park?"
"No that's too childish."
"The 104 building?"
"She's going there with Shiki and Rhyme."
"I don't know Phones, how about some place she hasn't gone before?"
"Yes, perfect! But I don't know where she hasn't gone." I said.
"Well when you call her, just ask her 'what places have you not gone to'. Or maybe you can text Shiki and ask her to find out"
"Alright. I still have a little time before I call her so... could you maybe help me with.... complimenting or talking in general."
"Well I'll see what I can do."

~(y/n)'s P.O.V.~
As soon as I got up, I quickly got ready and waited to leave. Once it was time I headed out the door. It's only about a 10 minute walk to the 104 building so I got there pretty quick. I stood outside the building only for a few minutes until Shiki and Rhyme showed up.
"Hi!" Rhyme said.
"Hey guys!"
"Ready for some shopping?" Shiki asked.
"Ready!"
We walked through each store one by one, carefully examining the clothes and whatever else they sold. I noticed Shiki texting and couldn't help but wonder if it was Neku.
"Who you texting?" I asked her.
"Oh, um, no one. So have you been to every place around town?"
"I wish! Some places I have heard of but never gone to."
"What places haven't you been to?" Rhyme asked.
"Well I can't remember the store names because there are so many but I know there is a noodle shop I would like to go to."
"What's it called?" Shiki asked.
"Umm I think it's called "Ramen Don."
Shiki then took out her phone again and was quickly typing.
"Uh, whatcha doing there?" I asked. She quickly put it away before I could look.
"Just putting a note on my phone so I don't forget. Oh! Look at that...shirt over there!" She said as she walked away. I just shook my head and followed behind her. Another hour flies by and my phone starts to ring.
"Hello?"
"H-hey (y-y/n), its Neku."
"Hey Neku! What's up?"
"Um, well I was wondering i-if you would like to go on a d-date later today?"
"I would love too!"
"R-really!"
"Of course!"
"Great meet me by the Hachiko Statue at 5:30."
"Alright see you then."
As I hung up the phone Shiki and Rhyme ran up to me.
"Was that Neku?" Rhyme asked.
"Yeah."
"What did he say?" Shiki asked.
"He asked me out on a date."
"What did you say?!?" They both yelled.
"I said yes." They both started squealing and jumping around like they seen a hot guy wink at them or something.
"What time are you meeting him?" Shiki asked.
"5:30."
"Well we better hurry and get you a nice outfit." Rhyme said.
"What's wrong the ones I'm wearing?"
"Nothing but since it's your first date we want you to get new outfit. Oh! And don't worry I'm paying." Shiki said.
"No you don't have to."
"Well I want to and you're going to deal with it." She replied. I rolled my eyes and let the other two drag me away to get a new outfit.

~Neku's P.O.V.~
"Alright I still have a couple hours until I meet up with (y/n), so now I gotta figure out what I'm going to wear."
"Umm why don't you wear what you are already wearing?"
"Well I don't know. Should I just wear this or change into something.....nicer?"
"Well maybe you could wear a hat instead of your headphones." I quickly put my arms around my head.
"But I like my headphones." I whined.
"Yeah and you also like this girl so take 'em off." I sigh and carefully take off the headphones.
"There that wasn't so hard was it?" He said. Beat then walks over to my closet and looks through my clothes. Before I knew it, I had a pile of clothes thrown at my face.
"Go try those on." He said. I walk into the bathroom a d put on the clothes he gave me. I then looked into the bathroom mirror and checked myself over.
'I have to admit....I look hot!' I walked back into my bedroom and gave Beat a 'how do I look?' Kind of expression. He gave me a thumbs up and I looked at the time.
"Oh! Got to go! I'll text you later!" I said as I ran out of my house.

~(y/n)'s P.O.V.~
Once Shiki bought me my new outfit, her and Rhyme took me to her place to 'fix me up'. Once they were done they noticed the time and told me to leave so I would get to Hachiko on time. She didn't live that far away so it wasn't that long until I got to the statue. I waited for about 15 minutes until Neku arrived.
"Hey." He said.
"Hi."
"You l-look nice."
"Thanks!" I said blushing.
"A-are you ready?"
"Yeah, but where are we going?" I asked.
"Ramen Don."
"Did Shiki tell you that I've never been there?"
"Mmm.. Maybe."
We walked for a bit until we arrived at the restaurant. Once inside we ordered our food and sat down at a table in (awkward) silence.
"S-so how was your day with Rhyme and Shiki?" He asked.
"Oh um it was interesting. At one point the prince came and a huge group of fangirls followed him in so the store got crowded. Shiki even got lost in the crowd so Rhyme and I and to go get her (chuckle)" Neku then laughed also.
"Well that's Shiki for you. She can be really hyped up at times. Then there are times when she can be mellow."
"Yeah she's a fun person. So how did you meet?" I asked.
"Who? Shiki and me?"
"Well her, Rhyme, Beat and Joshua."
"Oh well its a long story but we met...through a game."
"Really? What kind of game?"
"W-well the game lasts for a week but I was put into the game 3 times."
"You were put into the game for 3 weeks?!?"
"Yeah."
"How did you survive?"
"I had Shiki, Joshua and Beat."
"What about Rhyme?"
"Something happened to where she was taken out of the game."
"Well I'm glad you're all okay."
"Me too."
The owner then came to the table and have us the food we ordered. We then age our food but still kept a conversation going.
Once we were don't eating Neku paid the man and we left.
"Thanks you for taking me out for dinner Neku!" I said
"No problem. I'm glad you said yes." I the started to blush as red as a fire truck.
"So, uh was this date a-alright?"
"Yes. Why do you ask?"
"Well its my first d-date so I-" I cut him off as I gave him a peck on the cheek.
"Don't worry I had a great time!" I said as I gave him a smile. He smiled back at me and he grabbed my hand.
"How about I walk you home." He said.
"Alright." We then headed off to my house still holding hands. Once we got to my house I gave him a hug and was about to walk in the door when he stopped me.
"Would....would you like to go on a-another date sometime?" Neku asked.
"Of course! Just text me and we will figure out the details. Alright?"
"Alright."
"Goodnight Neku!"
"Goodnight!"

~Neku's P.O.V.~
After (y/n) went inside her house I went back to my own. I walk in the door and was greeted by a sleeping Beat on the couch.
"Beat?" Beat just snores in response.
"Beat!!!!!!!"
"Bwahahhh! Oh hey Neku."
"Um what are you doing in my house?"
"Well you ran out of the house so quick I didn't know where your key was to lock the house up so I thought I would wait here."
"Oh sorry."
"Don't worry bro. So how was the date?"
"It went pretty well. She said she had a great time so I guess it was a success. Plus she said she would go on another date with me."
"Wait you asked her on another date!?!?"
"Y-yeah."
"That's great man!" Beat said as he gave me a pat on the back.
"Thanks"
"Well I'll be going now. Talk to you later Phones."
"Bye Beat."
