He walked alone in the dark of the night, his feet leading him to wherever they took him. He was starving, the way his stomach roared and his legs ached. He stumbled upon Athena's house, hoping she was alone in there.

He walked slow, dragging steps until he reached the porch, pushing his weight onto the door as he sluggishly tried to open it. Obviously, the door is locked because who the fuck keeps the door unlocked before they go to bed? Michael kept trying to open the door, enough for Athena to hear from upstairs.

She silently moved down the stairs, cautiously walking towards the door where she saw the door knob being constantly rattled.

Standing on her tiptoes, she peeked through the peephole to see a disheveled Michael, and for a moment she was distracted from the way his face looked, although she couldn't make out much from the dark. Without a moment's hesitation, she abruptly opened the door, causing Michael to fall straight to her doorstep face first.

"Oh my god, I am so sorry." She crouched down to help him up, only to be welcomed with the dried blood on his clothes and all over his body. She screamed, letting go of him and backing up at the same time.

She watched him crawl his way to her kitchen. He opened the fridge door and grabbed whatever was in front of him and shoved it in his mouth.

"That's a burrito, I-I bought it earlier..." She figured Michael probably didn't care what he was eating, watching nervously as his blood-soaked figure make a pig of himself. He placed his hands around his neck, gagging and choking on something. Athena stood, terrified, watching the gruesome sight before her unfold.

She knelt down to face him. "Michael?"

To her misfortune, he puked out black disgusting slime, along with remnants of the food he had eaten a minute ago. She ran to the telephone, dialing 911 when Michael shoved her against a wall, pushing his weight onto her and letting his head rest on her shoulder as she cried for help.

"Are you scared?"
