Soulmate (Himuro Tatsuya)

You lived in world where everyday was a nightmare until you met your soulmate.

That would explain why you were having such a hard time right now. You walked out of you're apartment looking like a total mess. You had bags underneath your eyes, you're make-up was smudged and you're hair looked like a birds nest.

You had almost given up on finding your soulmate. Most people found they're soulmate around when they were 16. You were currently 21. What if you're soulmate died? What if you never had a soulmate to begin with?

You walked to (Favourite Place) alone. I wish I had a soulmate, you thought. I mean, who wouldn't? You wished that the nightmare would finally end and that you could start living a daydream.

As you walked along the sidewalk, couples were buzzing pass. Kissing, holding hands, and overall, having a good time.

Suddenly, a bus almost ran you over. You cursed the bus and began to pick up your belongings. A hand reached out and helped you. The owner of hand looked at you and smiled gently.

"I hope you find your soulmate soon," he says fully aware of your attire.

The male walked off after handing you your things. You looked down at yourself. Trashy clothing, messy face, it looked like you didn't even take care of yourself. Even if you had already passed your soulmate on the street, they probably wouldn't even want to strike up a conversation with you.

You began walking home. Oh... Wait. You thought to yourself. You didn't have any nice clothes, accessories and such. Time to go buy some!

After getting a makeover you looked completely fabulous. You wore a white dress with a black collar [not liek, one of those puffy dresses but y'know? The slim ones idk how to explain LOOL] , Converses and had your hair ombré'd (Colour of Choice). You're smudged make-up was rubbed off and now you had blood-red lipstick, light blush and a teensy bit of mascara.

You were proud of how you could look if you tried.

You began to show-off your knew look by walking down the street. Everyone stared at you in awe. You were so beautiful no one would've thought you didn't have a soulmate.

As if saying you didn't belong, the rain started to pour ruining all your efforts. You fell onto the ground and began to cry.

No matter how much you tried, it was all wasted. Life honestly didn't give you a daydream until you found you're soulmate. But how were you meant to find them?

Negative thoughts kept rushing through your mind as the rain was raining (?) even harder.

An umbrella began to hover over you blocking the the droplets of water away.

"You look so much better like this," the holder of the umbrella called out to you.

Much to your surprise, it was the same man as before that helped you pick up your things. The male picked you up bridal-style and began carrying you towards some cover.

"I'm Himuro Tatsuya. How about you?" He says gentlemanly as he dries you.

"(Full Name). Nice to meet you," you reply giving him a sweet smile.

A few weeks have passed since that incident and you began enjoying life a lot more. You began thinking more positively and you were more cheerful. Himuro came to see you everyday and the two of you became close friends.

Is this what it feels like to live in a daydream? You randomly say inside your head. Wait... If this truly was a daydream, doesn't that mean...

You rushed off to see Himuro.

"(Your Name)-chan / Himuro-kun!" You both say as you run towards each other as fast as you could.

Finally being in reach of him, the male began to embrace you. He also realised that you made so many changes to his life. Not only did he begin to see the good things about life, he also began to feel less stressed. He also had the same effect on you.

"You are my soulmate."

A/N: After reading @icyfalls's Soulmate!AU [Haikyuu x Reader] I began wanting to write a story about soulmates.

Of course, because I'm a loser, I thought of the worse idea possible. //claps
