Chapter 10

- Alex -

Levi left when the bell rang for our next subject and Mandy wont stop saying that she met Levi and that I'm so lucky that I got to be in a normal conversation with Levi. I mean, I can't have a normal conversation with Levi when I first met him which I think is just normal, but now that we met multiple times already I kinda got used to seeing his lovely face.

"You know, Mandy is starting to sound like you. Except for the accent." Jay told me while we're both staring at Mandy who is smiling to herself like an idiot.

"I know about the accent. Yeah, I didn't know she was also a fangirl like me." I told him proudly.

"Guess I'm destined to be friends with fangirls." He said.

I looked at him with my eyebrows crossed, "You two are friends already?"

"You asked like it was a bad thing."

I uncrossed by eyebrows. "No, because at first you're on the quiet mode to her."

"Nah. Anyway, I can't take you guys home. I got a band practice for the club fair." He said.

"Club fair! I do have a dance practice for that too." I said remembering the note I put on my room.

"Well, who's gonna take Mandy home?"

"She's old enough. She can ride the bus home by herself." I said shrugging his worry off.

He poked his two fingers on my forehead; the thing he do whenever I suggest or make stupid ideas. "You know she's been going to school here for 2 days. What if jerks make fun of her in the bus?"

I took his hand off of my forehead. "Okay fine. I'll take her home." I told him.

He smiled. "Nice." He said and went back to what he's doing.

Mandy and I got home and I darted upstairs to my room. Tossed my back on my computer chair. Change into some gray sweat pants and a gray long sleeve crop top with a black Clavin Klein sports bra in it. Paired it with my gray and black nike. Grabbed my earphone and penny board I carry Finn and walked accross to knock on Mandy's room.

"What is it Alex?" She asked.

"Hey uhh I'm going on our dance practice. Can you take care of Finn for me while I'm gone? There's some pizza in the fridge if you want to eat. Just put them in the microwave you know those stuffs right?" I asked after giving Finn to her and brushing my hair so it will flow gradually and not make me look like I have a giant bird nest on my head.

She get Finn from my arms. "Of course."

"Okay good. Be back later." I told her and kiss Finn's forehead before heading downstairs.

Closing the door behind me, I started penny boarding all the way to school. It's not that near to call a walking distance and not that far to take the bus either. I just find it easy and relaxing to penny board to school because you're just like strolling.

I reached the school and carry my penny to open the school doors and went back skating on the hallways.

"Alex! No skate boarding on the hallways!" Mrs. Simpson scolded as she passed by me.

"I know Mrs. Simpson! Sorry!" I said making my voice a little bit louder so she can still hear me from a distance.

I turned my penny to the right where we're going to practice. Not to brag but our school is big enough to accomodate other facilities for different clubs such as the drama club, singging club, journalist club, dance club, Jay's; the band and many other different clubs. We're just thankful that we have our own different space to practice whenever we fill like it. Unlike other bands in school that doesn't have any choice but to rehearse in the garage or anywhere.
