Back in the isolated room the princess has given up trying to replicate the setting sun that she so longed to see once more. She feared that this dreaded room would be the last sight she'd ever know. Just as she laid her head on the now disheveled desk, the voice spoke to her once again. He told her that he was growing tired of her fathers reluctance and efforts to out power him and that by about this time tomorrow the kingdom would either be his or that she would be his wife. This made the princess despair in the fact that she may never see the outside world again. And with that thought a widow appeared on the wall near the desk.
The princess jumped up and ran to the window to see the sky once more. The voice said and as my potential future bride it is only fitting that I reveal myself to you. With that a radiant and explosive light flooded the empty room. When the light had faded there in front of the princes was a tall dark figure shrouded in shadowy robes and a hood. The figure took three steps closer before removing his hood and exposing a face that looked as if it was crafted by the gods themselves. It was the second most mesmerizing thing the princess had ever seen. When she locked with his cool ocean like eyes she felt a tingle and strange feeling sweep over her.
Back at the castle the king and this mysterious fellow had finished conversing on the problem at hand. The king had agreed to accept this man's help in one last attempt to thwart the evil warlocks plan in succeeding to the throne. The king however had his doubts since this wizard was clad in tattered rags. This lead the king to ask "If you're as powerful as you say wizard, then why is it that you dress so poorly?" The wizard humbly answered "Just because one is in rags doesn't mean that they aren't special or powerful in their own right. You sire should know not to judge things based on how they appear. The forest that's just beyond your garden limits appeared to be a serene and tranquil environment in which promotes a peaceful surrounding and look how that turned out. Plus I like these clothes. They're comfortable and allow me to blend in with the rest of the people that men of your standard don't recognize. I don't like standing out in the crowd. However when someone needs help the spot light doesn't matter."
With that the wizard clapped his hands and vanished in a puff of smoke. The king sat on his throne and pondered what the wizard had said about not paying attention to his subjects and living his life of luxury in comfort while some of his subjects were barely surviving and struggling with the basics of life. The wizard appeared on the outskirts of the forest. The wizard lifted his hand and passed it over the forest to reveal its current true nature as a desolate and barren wasteland covered by a low hanging fog that is still hiding the beasts within. Even with this change in forest, the tower was still lost from sight. "Absconsa mihi revelare!" With that the mist began to part slightly revealing a path that the wizard had begun to follow.
The warlock and the princess were still standing there in silence as the princess was still shocked as to how attractive this once menacing looking figure was. The breath in her lungs had caught at the base of her throat. "You look a bit smitten princess. Have you maybe seen something that you like? Were you maybe expecting an old, wrinkled, ugly, and/or deformed gent? You noble types and your preconceptions annoy me to no end. You only see what you want to see while some of us are suffering to no end. The people that you see as peasants and workers mean nothing to you other than to be used as tools and a means for attention. Your blissful arrogance and ignorance to these obvious problems baffles me." The princess averted her gaze from the warlock and stood in stunned silence as she dwelled on the truth behind his words.
