I woke up on the sofa, my back and neck aching from the uncomfortable position. I made a cup of tea and breakfast. I sat down in front of my computer and searched for Minecraft Tutorials. The first one to appear was 'How To Minecraft' by a YouTuber I had never heard of, Stampylonghead. I clicked on the video. The voice was somewhat familiar but I didn't know where from. I shrugged and ended up watching the whole series. Then I clicked on another of his videos.

I kept watching his videos until I saw the time. It was half past one and my shift at Tesco started in half an hour! I jumped up, pulling on my uniform and grabbing my shoes. I struggled to put them on. As I left, I grabbed my bag and a piece of toast. This would have to do for lunch. It was quarter to one when I reached my car. I would very nearly be late.

Eventually, I pulled into the car park. It was five to two, so I was five minutes early. 'Thank goodness' I thought. I started my long, boring shift.

Finally, I got home and made another YouTube video. I loved making Minecraft videos. I decided to make an adventure map for Stampy Cat. After all, I had spent all morning watching his videos. I might as well tell him how much I like his videos.

After building for two hours straight (an hour and a half were spent trying to figure out some easy redstone which I was over complicating.), I had the map completed. I turned on the screen recorder and started the video.

"Hello everyone, and welcome to Minecraft with me, Sqaishey." I introduced the video and gave a brief tour of the map. It had a few little challenges for Stampy to complete if he played the map.

I finished the recording ten minutes later. I quickly checked the sound and uploaded it. I suddenly realised several things: it was eleven o'clock, i hadn't eaten anything and Jake hadn't called me still. I checked my phone just in case. There were no text messages or missed calls.

'Oh well...' I thought 'He's probably busy with work or something.'

I made dinner (pasta and salad) and went to bed. I was tired and I was working again tomorrow. I felt my eyes close and dreams danced behind my eyelids. However, there was one thought that was keeping me awake. Why hadn't Jake called?
