When I got outside, I realised how stupid I had been. I had never believed at 'love at first sight' but seeing the cashier... I don't know! She just made my heart lift. I shook my head, partly to get the idea out of my brain but mainly because I was covered in rain.

I think there was a storm coming. The clouds were dark, lightning danced across the sky and the moon couldn't be seen. It was horrible weather... I had to get home before I got stranded in a storm in the middle of the night.

After what seemed like an eternity of walking, I arrived at home. I had just placed my carrier bag on the table and put the kettle on when I heard the phone ring. I answered. It was Amy.

"Hi, Stampy..." She sounded afraid. Then it hit me! She was afraid of thunder storms...

"Hey, Amy! Are you ok?" I asked, worried about her.

"Yeah... Well... No. I'm at my house on my own..."

"I'll be over in ten minutes."

"You don't have to... I'll be fine..."

"No you won't! I'm coming over!"

"Okay. See you soon."

"Bye!" I ended the call, gathering my keys, some biscuits, chocolates and lollipops. I also put a spare outfit and my pyjamas into a bag. I phoned Squid and told him to meet me at Amy's. Then I grabbed the tea bags. There would be three of us there so how many cups of tea would that be? Lots... Lots of tea...

.........................................

By the time I arrived at Amy's, I was drenched! Squid's posh, fancy sports car was parked in the driveway. I knocked on the door and Amy opened it.

"Oh my gosh! Stampy, you're soaking! Come on in, did you bring spare clothes!" That was typical Amy. Always putting everyone else before herself. She was probably shaking with fright but she still wants Squid and me to be comfortable.

I quickly go upstairs to get changed in the guest bedroom. I put on my pyjamas which were an old Stampy Cat and Squid Nugget t-shirt with a pair of jogging bottoms. Then I headed downstairs. Squid was plugging the Xbox into her downstairs television. It was usually in her office, but it would be more comfortable to play downstairs together.

The familiar Minecraft loading screen appeared as I walked into the living room with three cups of tea and a bag of lollies balanced on my head. It made Amy laugh as I hoped. She was cuddled in her Disney pyjamas underneath a blanket on the sofa. I saw a little Mickey Mouse plushie poking out.

I placed the tea on the coffee table and handed the lollies to Amy. She took a red strawberry one. I helped myself to a cherry and Squid had cola.

I logged into Xbox Live and we played lots of minigames in my Funland. It was nice and relaxing and we successfully managed to help Amy relax.
