A New Dawn

The morning after the royal function, the Rathore Palace was buzzing with unusual energy. The palace helpers whispered among themselves as they polished silver trays and dusted chandeliers.

“She spoke like a lioness last night…” one maid whispered.
“Even Hukum Sa himself smiled when she spoke!” another added in awe.

The news channels played nonstop footage of Ishika’s speech, her words replayed with dramatic music. Headlines flashed across the country:

“Ishika Malhotra: The Girl Who Roared.”
“Rathore Palace Queen? Ishika Malhotra silences critics with dignity.”
“From Servant to Sovereign: Ishika’s truth shakes society.”

Everywhere, Ishika’s name was no longer whispered with doubt but spoken with respect.

👑 Inside the Palace

At breakfast, the family gathered as usual in the sunlit dining hall. Ishika walked in hesitantly. But unlike before, the servants bowed their heads respectfully as she passed.

She paused, startled. One of the senior cooks smiled warmly. “Ishika Baisa, the nation is proud of you. You gave voice to women who suffer silently. Thank you.”

Her throat tightened. She simply nodded and hurried inside.

At the long table, Abhimaan sat at the head, sipping his black coffee. Ekansh read the newspaper while Yuvraj attacked his parathas happily.

As Ishika entered, Yuvraj grinned. “Didi Sa! Come sit here, next to me. Today I’ll feed you, you don’t feed me!”

She laughed softly, shaking her head. “Nahi, Yuvraj, I’ll eat myself. You finish your breakfast.”

But she sat beside him, her hands folded in her lap.

Abhimaan’s eyes lifted briefly, locking on her. He didn’t speak, but the look carried weight — pride, approval, and something warmer. Ishika quickly lowered her gaze, her cheeks flushing.

📰 Ekansh Reads the News

Ekansh folded the newspaper and placed it on the table. “The media is on our side now. They’re calling you ‘Rathore Palace ki garima.’ Even our business rivals are cautious, because society is suddenly in awe of you.”

Ishika blinked in shock. “Me? But… I only spoke the truth.”

“Sometimes,” Ekansh said calmly, “the truth is the most powerful weapon.”

Yuvraj nodded with his mouth full. “Exactly, Didi Sa! You were like Jhansi ki Rani yesterday. I swear, I almost wanted to clap in the middle of the function.”

Abhimaan’s lips twitched — a hint of a smile. He set his cup down. “And for the first time, society bowed to something other than power — it bowed to honesty. You’ve done what many cannot.”

His words were simple, but to Ishika, they felt like a crown placed on her head.

💔 Ishika’s Doubt

Later that day, Ishika wandered into the palace garden, the scent of roses surrounding her. She sat on the swing, her dupatta trailing across the ground.

Her heart was still heavy. Everyone respects me now, but what if it changes tomorrow? What if I fail them?

Her thoughts spiraled until a voice broke through.

“Why are you sitting alone, Ishika?”

It was Ekansh. He walked over, his calm presence immediately soothing.

“I… I’m just thinking,” she whispered.

He sat on the bench beside her. “About last night?”

She nodded. “I’ve never spoken like that before. I don’t know where that strength came from. What if… what if I can’t live up to it again?”

Ekansh looked at her gently. “Strength isn’t about always fighting loudly. It’s about standing when the world expects you to fall. You’ve already proved that. And if you ever falter…” he paused, his voice firm, “then we are here. Bhai Sa, Yuvraj, me. You will never stand alone.”

Her eyes filled with tears. “You all make me feel like… like I finally belong somewhere.”

“You do.” Ekansh’s words carried no hesitation. “You belong here.”

🧸 Yuvraj’s Innocent Bond

That afternoon, Yuvraj barged into her chamber, his arms full of sweets. “Didi Sa! See, I brought laddoos for you. You looked sad in the garden, so I asked the cook for your favorite.”

She laughed despite her heavy heart. “Yuvraj, you’re too much. If you keep feeding me, I’ll get fat.”

“So what?” Yuvraj grinned mischievously. “You’ll still be the prettiest Didi Sa. And don’t worry — I’ll eat half with you.”

He sat cross-legged on the floor, breaking the laddoos in half and feeding her like a child. Ishika’s heart warmed at his innocence. For years, she had longed for family love. Today, she felt like an elder sister, like a mother, like someone finally needed.

🔥 Abhimaan’s Silent Admiration

That evening, Abhimaan stood in his private study, overlooking the courtyard through the glass doors. Aditya walked in, holding a file.

“Hukum Sa,” Aditya said cautiously, “the board is impressed with how Ishika handled the media. They say her words strengthened our empire’s image.”

Abhimaan remained silent, his eyes fixed on the garden below, where Ishika sat teaching Yuvraj a song. Her laughter drifted faintly up to his room.

Aditya smirked knowingly. “You’re proud of her.”

Abhimaan’s jaw flexed. “She spoke with courage I did not expect.” A pause. His voice softened, almost to himself. “She doesn’t even know what she means to this palace… to me.”

Aditya raised an eyebrow but wisely stayed silent.

🌸 Ishika’s Private Moment

That night, Ishika knelt before the temple in her chamber, lighting a small diya. Her hands folded, her voice whispering prayers.

“Bhagwan, thank you… for giving me strength yesterday. And thank you… for giving me this family. For the first time, I feel seen. I feel loved. Please, don’t take this away.”

A tear slipped down her cheek, but this time, it wasn’t from pain — it was from gratitude.

🌙 Closing Scene

As she rose to her feet, there was a knock at her door. It was Abhimaan.

He stepped inside, his tall figure framed by the golden light of the diya. For a moment, they simply looked at each other — her with wide, uncertain eyes, him with unreadable depth.

“You did well yesterday,” he said finally, his voice low but carrying weight. “The palace is proud. I am proud.”

Her lips parted in surprise. “I only spoke the truth.”

“And sometimes,” he replied, his eyes holding hers, “truth spoken at the right time can shake kingdoms.”

The air between them was heavy, charged, yet comforting. She lowered her gaze, her cheeks burning.

“Rest now, Ishika,” he added, his tone softening. “Tomorrow is a new day. And from today, you will not bow your head to anyone.”

As he left, Ishika stood frozen, her heart racing. For the first time, she felt not just protected — but cherished.

And Abhimaan, walking down the corridor, knew one thing with certainty: the storm that was his life had finally found its calm in her.
