Calm Before the Storm

The palace seemed unusually serene that morning. Ishika had woken early, offering flowers at the temple, her dupatta fluttering in the soft breeze. She was adjusting slowly to her new life — the respect, the protection, the way Abhimaan’s eyes softened whenever they found her.

But shadows lurked behind the calm.

Aditya rushed into Abhimaan’s study. “Hukum Sa, our rivals are not sitting quiet. They’re planning something big today — targeting Ishika Baisa.”

Abhimaan’s jaw clenched. His aura turned sharp as a blade. “I dare them to touch her. She is mine to protect.”

At the same moment, Ishika stepped outside the palace gates with two maids, carrying a thali for offering. She didn’t know eyes were already watching her.

⚔️ The Attack

It happened suddenly.

Four masked men leapt from the shadows, surrounding Ishika. The maids screamed, backing away. One man grabbed her wrist roughly. “So this is the palace’s new queen? Today we’ll show Hukum Sa what happens when he grows a weakness.”

Ishika’s breath caught, fear freezing her.

“Leave her!” a furious roar split the air.

Abhimaan arrived like a storm, with Ekansh, Yuvraj, and Aditya at his side. Guns drawn, fury radiating from them, they attacked the intruders.

But these weren’t ordinary thugs. The rivals had planned well. More men appeared from alleys, surrounding the Rathores.

Ekansh fought with calm precision, Yuvraj with youthful fire, Aditya with sharp tactics. Abhimaan himself was fury incarnate, breaking bones with his bare hands. But still, the numbers were against them.

One man shoved Ishika down, aiming a knife at her. She shut her eyes, whispering, “Hukum Sa…”

🌹 An Unexpected Savior

“Touch her, and you’ll never breathe again.”

The voice was sharp, commanding, female.

Everyone froze.

A young woman walked forward, flanked by her own guards. She was only nineteen, yet her aura silenced the chaos. Long hair framed her face, her black blazer and boots making her look like a warrior queen. Her beauty was undeniable —delicate yet fierce, and her eyes carried both steel and sorrow.

With a flick of her hand, her guards overpowered the attackers swiftly. Within minutes, the men who had nearly harmed Ishika were on their knees, begging for mercy.

Ishika looked up at her savior, stunned. Something familiar stirred in her heart, though she couldn’t place it.

Behind her, Abhimaan, Ekansh, Yuvraj, and Aditya stared in shock. They had never expected a stranger — a mere girl — to rescue Ishika when they themselves had struggled.

Ishika’s Recognition

Ishika froze. That voice. That name.

Only one little girl had ever called her that.

Her lips trembled. “Anchu…?”

The young woman gave a faint smile. “Yes, Ishi Di. Your Anchu.”

Tears brimmed in Ishika’s eyes as she clutched her cousin. The Rathore brothers stood still, shock etched across their faces.

🕊️ Ishika Reveals the Past

Later, inside the great hall, everyone gathered. Anchal stood in silence, leaning back with her arms crossed, her face unreadable.

Ishika, still shaken but filled with emotion, turned to the family.

“She is my cousin. Anchal Malhotra. Daughter of Amit and Palak Malhotra.”

Gasps echoed. Yuvraj frowned. “But we never saw her in their house.”

Ishika’s eyes watered. “Because… she was never wanted. When she was only three years old, they abandoned her. Threw her into a government hostel. She grew up alone.”

Her voice broke. “I saw her only once before she vanished. She was a small girl who used to call me Ishi Di. I never forgot her. And today, when she called me that again… I knew.”

Everyone stared at Anchal. She gave no denial, no confirmation — just silence, her chin held high, her eyes hard.

Abhimaan’s jaw clenched, fury flickering. “They abandoned their own blood?”

Ishika nodded weakly. “Yes. And yet she grew up strong. My Anchu…” She held Anchal’s hand, but Anchal didn’t squeeze back. Her eyes were distant, carrying years of wounds.

⚡ Aditya’s Suspicion

As the silence grew heavy, Aditya narrowed his eyes at Anchal. Something about her face, her aura, stirred memory.

Finally, he spoke. “Have we met before?”

Anchal’s gaze sharpened. “No.”

Aditya didn’t back down. “I think we have. At a business conference in Dubai. The one where no one knew who the mysterious CEO was — only a shadow behind tinted glass. But I saw you, even if only for a moment.”

The hall went silent. Everyone looked at him.

Aditya’s voice dropped, steady, certain. “You are KNIAM, aren’t you?”

😲 The Shocking Truth

Gasps thundered in the palace hall.

Yuvraj’s eyes widened. “KNIAM? The empire no one knows the face of?”

Ekansh froze, his calm mask cracking. Abhimaan’s sharp gaze fixed on her, measuring. Even Ishika looked at Anchal in disbelief.

“K… KNIAM?” she whispered. “Anchu… that’s you?”

For a moment, the young woman’s mask slipped. Her lips tightened. Her eyes flickered with something raw — pain, pride, defiance.

But she gave no words.

Her silence was enough.

The truth hung in the air like fire.

🌹 Ishika’s Heartbreak

Ishika’s hands trembled as she turned to her cousin. “Anchu… you built all this? You suffered alone, and I never knew?”

Anchal finally spoke, her voice low and cold, though her eyes shimmered with unshed tears.

“Yes, Di. I built myself. Brick by brick. Stone by stone. No one wanted me, so I became someone the whole world wanted. But…” She glanced at Ishika, her voice breaking for the first time. “The only thing I ever truly wanted was you.”

Ishika hugged her fiercely, sobbing into her shoulder. “I’ll never let you go again, Anchu. Never.”

🔥 The Brothers’ Reactions

Abhimaan: His fury simmered — not at Anchal, but at the Malhotras. His respect for Anchal grew silently; she was strength carved out of fire.

Ekansh: He couldn’t tear his eyes away from her. A storm brewed inside him — protectiveness, fascination, an obsession sparking.

Yuvraj: Shocked but awestruck. He whispered to Ishika, “Your Anchu… is the mystery queen.”

Aditya: His sharp instincts glowed with pride. He was the first to see through her silence.

🌙 Closing

That night, Ishika and Anchal sat together in Ishika’s chamber.

Anchal whispered, fragile in the darkness, “Ishi Di, don’t trust them too easily. I can’t lose you again.”

Ishika brushed her cousin’s hair gently, tears in her eyes. “You are not alone anymore, Anchu. You are home.”

Outside the door, Ekansh leaned against the wall, his fists tight. His calm voice whispered only to himself:

“She doesn’t know it yet… but she belongs here. She belongs with me.”

And thus, a storm had entered the palace — not of destruction, but of power, love, and unspoken wounds.
